There have been cases of Low Price PI attracting Buyers whom placed Deposits.

End up unable get their Cars from PI which closed shop.

Many Scams out there.

 

Case reported no.1 volumes of complain are from Car Trade.

Please be very careful with PI. Do your homework.

Too good to be True? Better think twice.

 

As for Hybrid Battery Lifespan, Toyota ones are generally more lasting than peers.

It's possible for them to last the entire lifespan(10yrs) of the COE.

Just that the efficiency - KM output will diminish end years.

Even Batt fail the car can still run on petrol source.

Just car will be sluggish…  [drivingcar]

Get from richburg. Reliable. So far have not heard about complaints about them.

 

Last time I was told Richburg is Toyota AD in HK but not sure if they still are.

Anyway, it seems they have a good reputation so you are right, getting a PI Toyota from them seems ok though heard they are quite expensive for a PI.

Nope, the AD for Toyota in HK is called Crown Motors. Richburg is also a PI in HK, but a very high end one.

 

The niche of Richburg is in bringing in JDM models (esp Toyota) which are otherwise not available in Singapore, and supporting it with a good after-sales service. As such, the price you pay may not be any much cheaper than one from the AD. But one cent, one good...

Ok tks bro for the clarification. Yes Richburg is saavy in offering non AD models n guess they have built up their name in HK n now S'pore so expect a higher price.

 

Last time I also read they wanted to tie up with Borneo for servicing but nothing came out of it.
