if  customers do not call the, they will not call to inform the customers until the paper work is ready. Otherwise customers will be keep chasing for car collection.  Moreover, their delivery bay could be very busy preparing  hundreds of LCR delivery  after every COE exercise, they probably have delivery timeline  SLA to meet as well, so those individual customers will get a lower priority.

mine called me on the spot after bidding closed.

LTA still win what, bids are real or not they are going to collect the money anyway.

BTW on side note, i got mine  .

congrats!

The increase in PH count do not necessarily coming from new COE, some are old cars that LCR bought from the market and converted them into PH. I dont know what % are those from old cars but i would think at lease 10% or 20% of your 15.4% are old car conversion. But i have to agree that the PH % is high regrdless new COE or old car.

it can be scary if the economy continue this trend. this talk of interest rate hike is only happening if there are biz that need money. but right now it is the case where there are monies but nobody needs them.

next few months biddings going to see the real actions. you will know how many rich people reside in singapore or those people in recession proof jobs are still buying. haha

obviously, these are infact figures based on NEW REGISTRATION... (i.e NEW cars).. not those conversion..

PH Cars figure  was 29369 at end of Dec 2015

PH cars figure was 45917 at end of Sept 2015.

net increase is around 16000... (of which there are 10000 plus new registration)...

As i said, for every old private car that LCR bought from the existing pool will have to be converted to a PH car before they can be used for uber. i am sure many have taken old LCR car before, these are the old cars that have contributed to part of the 45917.

Informing customers should be part of customer service which SE should at least provide lo. SE can inform their customer that coe is secure, and the estimated time for car to be delivered.

Yes, thats shld be the right way. Not to keep ur customer guessing for 2 full days.

My SE informed me right after my COE was secured. At least give u peace of mind.

I dont think the SE will know how much the company will bid , do they?

Interest already creeping up in SG le. Our economy is too open and for interest, we generally follow US lead.
