Relex guys... I think FXT and harrier NA or turbo is in different class although both are SUV...

I choose harrier becox of the comfort and it look more executive (to me) FXT throttle is more responsive but don't have the executive feel..

Hi Bermut,

Ya ... think elegence and premium harrier turbo dun have electric tailgate and dual memory seats respectively like fxt if you still think they are a different "class" which I hope not.

Probably different "category" instead of "class" would be more apt bah ...else executive SUVs would Lexus RX/NX, BMW X class, Merc GLCs or Volvo XCs and Harrier is more of a lesser towkay class ? Still remember older harrier owners used to soup up with Lexus RX badges not too long ago to fake Lexus RXs ?

Cheers.

I recalled both Premium and Luxury Harrier Turbo has electric tailgate and memory seats. Premium only has driver memory seat and Luxury has both driver and front passenger memory seat.

Agree with Richard. Different category and different in "target audience" to.

There are folks who like the luxury feel and those who prefer performance. There is no right or wrong. You cant have both unless one is willing to pay a premium for both.

Regardless of Luxury Harrier Turbo or performance based Forester XT both are "good" car.

Its true, i fully agree with you on this. Whether harrier turbo or harrier NA, it is a totally different class from forester. The interior of forester looks super dated/old fashion like car from 10 years ago. Forester looks boxy while harrier looks sleeker.

You can continue dreaming that subaru forester is on par with x1. The price different between nx200t and harrier turbo is 20-30k. Harrier turbo and forester also 20-30k. So nx200t is higher class than harrier. And harrier is higher class than forester. Period.

Its ok to drive a lesser car, nothing to be shameful about. You can continue to boost your turbo kick yo

Test drove both the harrier turbo and forester xt, lucky didn’t choose xt or will regret big time , cant stand the bare basic of the car , it looks like very aged for a face lifted model .

Since you mention/compare on pricing I would say pay for what the get no doubt about it.

Like i mentioned previously the luxury Harrier or performance based Forester.

But that do not mean Forester is a lesser car than Harrier or Harrier is a lesser car than Forester. Every cars has it pros and cons. Just like each individual is unique, which bring us to each individual has it own requirements.

Congrats that you had chosen the Harrier instead of Forester after your test drive. Obviously the reason being that you cannot stand the bare basic and outdated look.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" so is very subjective so no right no wrong. Just personal taste and liking.

LOL.

Hello are you living on earth???

Dont you know a lot of thing in this world in term of class is categorised by price?

Take airline for example economy class, business class and first class.

How do you upgrade from economy class (eg forester) to business class (eg merc GLC)? Pay more $$$ lo

Even income also got class, upper class, middle class and etc. All these are based on what? Income=$$$ ar bo you think it based on how many kids you have meh??

Sadly, salary and dignity got link de, that is the reason why some male feel inferior/less dignity if their wife earn more than them.

Sentiments exactly, ð

If it helps with the amusement, forester has up-ed its "class" in preparation for the new VES.

Hahaha ya uppped it class already, $10k go to tax and not into the build of the car. Continue to boast abt your turbo and "CLASS"ic interior

Classic also a form of "class" thought LOL

I sincerely hope that the car we drive is not the final arbiter of class.. sure, a nice car, nice shoes and clothes are an outward projection of a certain level of luxury, but you can't really buy class..
