It's true that some senior adult workers have been so protected by forward-thinking gahmen that they have grown unable to meet competition. The crybabies in this forum prove it. re: ...so many issues have happened... How many of those issues affected complainers directly? For Terrex issue, the clown gahmen bashers actually wanted to apologise to China. They actually forgot that singapore is sovereign nation. That is not spineless? What "PR Fiasco"? China was being a bully about the islands and complainers say our Foreign Minister must bend over? China is a bully... but the best way to handle it .. would be diplomacy... there is no need as far as i was concern to make remarks to msm. For bin center, the complainers get angry when I ask about how much they spend for their own home renovations and how much they loan to hao lian in a conti car. The spending is for better finish around the Parliament Building. How much a person uses his own money is his choice.. how a gahmen uses PUBLIC funds.. is quite another issue... there is no correlation at all... For MRT breakdowns, most are unable to say how they were directly affected. Most keep quiet because they actually drive to work. Complainers chime in and jeer and mock and bash only because they want to pin the blame on gahmen and looking for evidence that gahmen is 'evil' and intent on making their lives hell. In 4k over posts.... i rarely commented on MRT breakdowns.. simply becoz as you said... since i drive all the time.. MRTs breakdowns have never directly affected me.. But ... following your train of thought (like local MRT... which clearly frequently breaks down.. :p), people who are affected can complain... then why the assumption that just becoz this is a car forum... everyone must drive 100% of the time? re: ...as long as you drop your race pin pointing... I think as the majority race, we need to be role models and not be afraid of our dirty linen. Shows a maturity and self-confidence. And its the senior adult workers I am whacking. So old already so should know better, right? You have already dropped the race pointing... dont really want to have an argument with you over this issue... lets close this episode here k? But diplomacy was not what the gahmen bashers and hypocrite complainers demanded. They demanded that Vivian be sacked and Defence Minister had to announce end to training in Taiwan. Ridiculous. In the end, when the HK Customs come out and admit no problem, plus China foreign minister make statement about strong ties, then all Hypocrites sulk. And angry because they cannot find fault with gahmen. what the complainers supposedly demanded is not in the issue at hand here .. thats your personal issue... my gahmen did not choose diplomacy to settle the issue.. instead ... decided to take it very public... since im not one of those that demanded for those outcome... surely i can make comments that this issue could be handled better.... You mean ministers paid for their posts? You are a nurse so you will relate to these situations: "The medicine last night at 1am caused me to retch at 4am, and a fever came on maybe at dawn today." "Who taught you nursing, so lousy? I still got fever today. Pay so much still cannot heal." "I am going to write a letter to minister to sack you and the sister here for causing me so much pain." Which patient making these statements is more helpful to others and to themselves? Which statements sound like those "helpful complaints" from gahmen bashers and this forum's Hypocrite Complainers? I wanted to argue about the history part since I have an interest in ww2 and I read up a lot on it but I just saw this thread so I reply here. If the patient makes such a complain 1) I will see if the complaint has merit. If he is really not getting better I have to feedback to the doctor cos medicine is not working. 2) if medicine is not working cos he is terminally ill, I will still feedback to the doctor cos we should not be giving medicines that are obviously not going to work. Even for palliative care we don't just give pain killers if the patient is still in pain. Change the meds, change the dosage or even the approach but don't keep doing the same thing if the patient is still screaming in pain. In the rare times that nothing will work then at least try and not just keep quiet and do the same as usual. 3) if patient complain for the sake of complaining, yes he is the trouble maker you speak of but that is after we are sure his complaint has no merit. In the mrt situation you sure no merit to our complaints? I still take mrt. I was stuck when the NSEW line broke down and there was chaos when even the police did not know what to do. My colleagues could not get to their place of duty because there was no mrt and all taxi were full. No right to grumble? The problem now is that some in the G just brush off all complaints instead of taking the time to sift through the complaints to see which has merit and which has not.and just say all complainers are trouble makers. Some of us still engage in debates with you cos we are doing what the management should be doing. Agree? wat you talking about?? you have the freedom of choice to express your views.. and you have accepted the responsibility to BE a nuisance to other after exercising that choice! you had that one coming... re: MRT breakdowns... How are statements like "minister is incompetent", "the leader is useless", "what is to be expected from scholars" helpful to make MRT better? Why complainers like to condemn but cannot admit they don't know enough to help? re: ...senior chinese singaporeans... Is it so hard to admit one is in the wrong? You see... if i want to comment on something/someone... i at the very least always remind myself not to sink to that base level ... you are doing exactly tit for tat..... i know... but with regards to the MRT issue... i dont take MRT at all .. so i dont comment much ... but have you even taken a look at the SHEER number of breakdowns since 2015??
