Hows the walk? You start from tanglin halt and walk until where? I was at the tanglin halt sector see look see look the other day but no walk, got attacked by swarm of some flying insect and mozzies! 😓

walked from Tanglin Halt to Jalan Kilang Barat, where the trail currently ends. so had a cuppa at ABC market before heading back.

What is the distance from tanglin halt to bt merah area? So the green corridor for the other side towards buona vista direction not open?

3km.

i think the Buona Vista direction can't get far because Ulu Pandan side is still closed, so the most reach Ghim Moh only I think.

In the 70s when public transport was not developed, I walked through the railway to get to where the ABC market was to take a bus home. And we do it after dinner when everything is dark and obviously with no street light. Cut through mud paths with a torch light, cross the railway, and beside that, a make shift barber hut, before hitting tarmac roads. What a wonderful life then.

Good workout with total 6km distance clocked. I shall try it one day.

Exercising in a room where it reeks of alcohol, puke and 2nd hand smoke stuck within the fabric of the room does not sound very appealing. 😕

BTW, did you receive a pop up telling you to change your password because it has been compromised when you log in to mcf? I saw it yesterday and today.

Shack day for me, cycling a loop around changi. Many ppl cycle or walk to the new dinosaurs area. I simply cycle past them and went on my way.

Today, i went to NUH Heart Centre to do fitness assessment.

As my family does not have any heart problem, doctor told me i don't have to do Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test.

Instead, i will do blood test (due to high bad cholesterol), ultrasound test (on the heart) as well as threadmill test on Monday.

After that, i will Doctor at the end of the month.

Yesterday, I went to NUH to do blood test, ultrasound (echoCardiogram) and threadmill test.

Ultrasounds takes 30mins to complete. It seems heart, lung & liver go through ultrasound scan.

For threadmill test, I will have to walk till 80% of Theoretical Max HR. ECG & blood pressure were measured. Before the test starts, I have to sign consent form that I am aware of the risk of threadmill test.

When I walk till 80%, technician enquired whether I can push on. Of course I can. I end the test at 95%. As my HR takes “longer than expected” to hit 95%, MO getting inpatient.
