Some marginal buyers like high loans. If not they will not be able to afford it. Cnc is their life saviour

actually CNC still follow the policy of minimum DP as per LTA rules but they also have T&Cs like a certain loan amount for a certain number of years.

of course its subjected to individual's bargain to waive it off as well but its just  [smash]  that some people don't do the final calculation.

the quotes from Republic Auto had not been attractive at all, but still they are people who' don't mind'.

I think C&C buyers have no choice but to go to Republic Auto for trade in as u will not enjoy the extra discount if u don’t trade in a car n that’s why I think most bros in this thread are right that Komoco much better in this respect so even though their Avante Elite has lower OMV than Cerato SX, think Hyundai deal is better after all.

same old engine..

come on we are singapore an advance country here.. a few k extra we can afford to enjoy the latest tech.

why AD here treat us like a 3rd world country buying behaviour !!

Because the target population won't mind saving the few grand and using the same engine..

Things are very price sensitive at this segment of the market..

Speaking of the new dual injection engine (which is not available in this Avante), horsepower rate at 123bhp @ 6300rpm and torque at 157Nm @ 4500rpm. Actually current one is slightly more powerful (126bhp @ 6300rpm / 155Nm @ 4850rpm). Perhaps newer engine has cleaner emissions but expensive (hence KMC not bringing it in).

From the 0 to 100km/h acceleration with the new engine, I think the CVT helps with the timing which cuts a second off current (~10.5s vs 11.6s) with improve fuel economy as well. If it was to be fitted with the existing 6 speed, I doubt the improvement would be any significant over current engine.

That's what local buyers want. Not everyone is interested in the latest this and that. Komoco knows it and their cars are selling very well

That is a downshift of gear from 3 to 2 i suppose, should not be a big problem but being over emphasised in this forum. The extent of the phenomenon can be easily verified by a test drive. And if the software engineer of the facelift model delay the downshift at a lower speed, the feeling of downshift may not be felt so significantly.

Dont know if this avante sell well? I still find the front part lightning area ugly, it really reminds me of the prius front part.

The price not really attractive. However it's a newly launched model, wait a while for the price to go down

I mentioned "new dual injection" is the latest engine available in Korea and followed by its horsepower and torque figures and "current", which is the existing used by this facelift Avante available here and its horsepower and torque figures. Edited by Heartbreakid
