I could exclude other obvious ones like YNETR immediately because of my inclusion of E in the initial guess. I went with YNAPR first. When that failed, I went with YNCFR (rather than YNQYR) as it is just good sense not to repeat letters in the first half of the board if one can help it. By the way, I'm using ROT13 to further obscure my post. ROT13 is a special case of the simple symmetric Caesar (shift) cipher. It is special because it is self-inversive. It is already a standard on Puzzling stack exchange etc. I suggest we use this in addition to spoiler tags just to keep the fun going even if someone accidentally clicks on the spoiler area and unhindes it.
