Flared fenders give more protection in the event of a collision. Think of it as wearing thicker pants. Safer!

You think below the Flared Fenders put Armour Plates.?Where got added Protection.?If put Armour Plates(like those used to protect High Flyers) comfirmed very tough.

Rules taken from LTA One Motoring website.

Doing something when authorities did not interfere (that's another problem with LTA) doesn't mean it is right to do so. There's a reason why spoilers are not suppose to be wider and taller than the vehicle itself due to safety reason. Same as the enlarged fenders.

These jokers know how to wiggle their way where LTA is closing one eye. Then if get caught, cry father cry mother all kinds of grandmother story will come out and say they are right to do it.
