No Evidence to Support Mainstream Media Claim of “Hottest Day on Earth for 125k Years”; It’s Propaganda

Global boiling? Don’t be ridiculous

Read like opinions and not based on science.  If we cannot trust the scientists, what more politicians and people with unknown vested interest?

From receding glaciers in Iceland to Alaska (diligently recorded) and almost everywhere else and temperature measurement across the global over the last 100 years, don't think we can deny climate change.

Heck, even Singapore is getting hotter year after year.

Well.... visited a  New Zealand glacier during our first holiday with my then gf. The glacier was right at the side of the road,  you basically park, cross the road,  walk up.

Visit again 20 years later when gf already become wife. Glacier can barely see from the road,  its become a helicopter tour. Too far to walk.

Basically every glacier they now show before after photo... its undeniable.

After COVID, can we say that we can trust science? Sweden proved what can happen without Mask or Vaccine Mandate, zero lockdowns or distancing requirements.

Yes, they have more space between households but offices/businesses were allowed to operate normally and there was no worse deathrate. We can argue that Boris was correct, but chickened out too soon.

Think there was a comparative study of mortality rate in Sweden and Norway. Of course you can read and believe in whatever you want.

Don't think we know everything about the cosmic but science is the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained.

If you don't rely on science (what is available) to make decisions, what do you suggest we do? Consult fortune tellers, do nothing or take your chance? Not talking about your favorite Covid topics, but global warming.

I do not doubt science in itself, I am an engineer. I doubt scientists and their motives, especially on big topics backed by big business and/or politics.

I think on global warming, the consensus among scientists are pretty overwhelming (if what I read in the western media, which is also biased, is accurate), the arguments and debates are more on the acceptable tradeoffs and how the issues are to be tackled.

If Singapore’s birth rate continues to decline and we continue to bring in new citizens, Singapore will be long gone before all these climate change issues truly impact our daily lives.

Better learn from the Japanese situation, which is heading very quickly towards a “dying” population.

in future, Singapore will have even less of an identity than what we started with.

Good Luck Singapore Good Luck

Truth be told. These people who started the movement found a new way to make money and enrich themselves.

Its the same as many other NGOs or self proclaimed righteous groups who sensationalized issues and psycho others to donate voluntarily.
