SC justices serve lifetime appointments under Article III of the U.S. Constitution and can only be removed through impeachment by the House of Representatives and conviction by the Senate for Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. The house and senate are already divided and may be more divided after the mid term. Looks like US supreme court is the only true check and balance against a rogue presidency.
