I criticise the AM driver!

Not for accelerating that he did well.

I criticise him for not accelerating and then braking to force the BMW to turn left.

BM far left lane wants to cut lanes to turn right.

Just do a loop lah.

Must inconvenience the world to save 2 mins to do a loop.

Worse is he endanger the lives of other people. 

Die die better to crash then go go around.

AM does not need to brake to let an idiot in the wrong lane cut him up.

Stupid idiot can just go around.

Why judge? If the BMW dickhead was doing this to you, u are going to let him go ahead? Regardless of whatever may have happened earlier not shown in the video, the BMW was in the go straight lane.

I'm no saint. I wouldn't have let him pass for being such a dick about it.

 

 

 I didnt imply that the AM was wrong in not giving way nor did i say BMW is a saint.

Many a times the choice of giving way is forced - i have no patience to run to workshops , insurance report and what not after getting into an accident due to " right of way".  I rather cruise to my destination safely than trouble myself of such unwanted tasks...

I am also guilty of sometimes not familiar with the road/markings and hence end up in the wrong lane / place. It's my hope that i will meet someone gracious to close one eye for my transgression and let me merge in without making a huge drama about it. When someone does that for me I dont forget to do a friendly wave for being patient with me , though I have to say I see such gracious behaviour in Malaysia more often than in SG. 

If I am unable to make last minute adjustments to exit from  sticky situation I go with the flow and make a detour. I rather reach my destination slightly later than having to spend days / hours with insurance or workshop or worse end up becoming infamous overnight.

There are those who make a mistake and ended up in wrong lane, but then there are those who do it every day everywhere to cut queue. That BMW is one.

Can't agree more, but the BMW will meet his match one day for sure. Someone with a bigger ego than him and we can all get ready with popcorn to watch many many videos and reels and digged out past &present antics of rhe BMW...

I used to guard my queue fiercely 

in recent years my priorities shifted 

arriving my destination safely with minimal/no drama is what I after now

will chicken out in a standoff in exchange of that
