[Error] Mazda & Vezel Thread

Hi Calvy,

 

Thanks for the suggestion. I have replaced a new SD card as well as changed to a lower cutoff voltage, will check tomorrow morning, most probably will have the same issue though, was thinking of removing the camera power cable and checking the voltage level of the car battery the following day, but kinda lazy to troubleshoot already.

If still unable to fix, will be bringing down my car to the iroad camera vendor. The last 2 possible cause i can think of may be the car battery is having issue or the iroad sensing voltage is not in accordance with the actual car battery voltage.

Not sure why you made your post in my thread. I am not interested in the throttle controller as of now, have not went into reading this.

I am guessing that conventional accelerator pedal uses mechanical operation to open/close the throttle valve and based on this concept, the throttle controller is devised to reduce the response time by using electronic signals instead of mechanical operation, hence allowing quicker accelerating response.

I am looking at reducing the "sway" for back seat passengers.

Does rigid collars provide less sway? Understand that they gives lesser bumpy ride but not sure if it gives a less sway ride.

Anyone can advice?

The moment you crank the engine the battery voltage will most likely shoot below 12V to around 11V due to surge in current. This is esp true for aging batteries. Not sure how these onboard cameras handle such dips in voltage as it is normal during start-up. If your battery is 11V in idle state then that is not a good sign and all loads should be cut off.

If not you can go onto caraseoul and get those 2nd hand ones below 50 bucks.

Your best bet is to go to one of those baby shops or even Isetan to see and touch the actual item before buying.

 

Btw, does the vezel have the LATCH system for easy installation of car seats?

 

Not sure about the latch system, but there is something on the top of the seats that has a baby seat sign, above the passenger door side both sides.. i dun have a kid so dunnoe about the baby chair..if got chance i take a pic.. think must ask the rest

I will be collecting my vezel soon. My car comes with I-road front and rear camera. It has motion detect recording function when the engine is off. I browse thru this session and all the car owner using I-road have and are using this motion detect function when park.

 

However, my PI told me that although it has the motion detect function but they require the camera wiring to be tag to the car battery which they don't advise and do not want to be responsible for battery life spam. So what they will do is to connect to the hidden power point tats all which mean it will only record when I start my engine and on the road as the camera itself does not have a build in battery so can't be charge while driving. Only way for motion recording is to connect to the car battery and the SE said it might have warranty issues coz the car is new.

 

I am very concern and I really want to have the motion detect recording during park due to previous hit and run bad experience. Sorry for my ignorant, please enlighten me how you guys usually goes about doing this? I have also read that if I am driving everyday shouldn't be an issues, if I were to park the car more than 2 days going away I should unplug the cable to stop the battery for draining because the voltage cut off setting not reliable? So, for motion detect recording, the only way is to tag to car battery and ignore the warranty issues? Thanks

no, rigid collars cant reduce the "sway", but slowing down will.

 

 

Anyway TBH, rigid collar doesnt help much in givng less bumpy ride.

It's more like it absorbs vibrations rather than bumpiness.

 

So you are likely to feel the difference when driving thru stripes, lol.

coz Vezel being SUV should have a higher CG.. hence likely should give a bad sway a compared to my previous Jazz ride....

not sure though... didn't get a chance to drive it yet....

the warranty is for the battery??? my iroad is connected to my car battery and so far so good.. dont know why your PI so scared.. even the iroad zaps up all the battery, the battery can be recharged or the most change a new battery..  if really so sacred go get a external battery but to me its like wasteful since the iroad already has the feature and u choose to use external battery..

 

maybe u should tell the PI that your car better dont drive cos drive out might damage the tyres, might encounter engine failure etc.. hahahaha..

All 3 mentioned models are good. More popular ones are V7 & V9.

All depends on how deep your pocket is.

Think V9 resolution and angle is slightly higher than v7. price difference abt $150.

personally i think v7 is sufficient, though i am using v9.

On the instructions on the V9 have instructions to tap power source from the fuse box through the fuse connector. It's not connected directedly to car battery

Hi, btw I request to install front sensor with switch activation type. The SE ask me to top up $100 for that. Is it reasonable for that?
