Some shops will tell you suv tyres and expensive to get. Just go for the size that is acceptable with probably a higher profile. Some will tell you to go for 225. Vezel's weight is similar to sedan. Im using 215 55 17 now. Drove for 30k and still doing well. Previously on real SUV and tyres cannot tahan more than 30K based on my driving style.

Do you mean the tyre wore off faster or the noise and comfy with suv tyre?

How is the stock Dunlop tyre? I wonder are this directly from Japan or locally fix. I wonder how is the noise level and grip?

Cant really differentiate how much noise the stock dunlop tyres make as I havent tried other brands yet. Dunlops are directly from japan together with the car. Some people are saying that this car is quite noisy at speeds but I personally feel that the noise level is acceptable. Maybe at expressway speeds you can increase the volume of your speakers abit or go for sound proofing like quite a number of people have.

Then again, im coming from a GD fit with almost no sound deadening which is probably why I feel Vezel is quite quiet.. Engine is also very quiet

I think comfy and road noise is dependent on the brand and model. So far only yoko cs1 and primacy 3 st have good feedbacks. As for suv tyres, whether it wears off faster is dependent on the weight of the car and your driving style. In the past when my previous suv weights about 1.6t...my tyres though made for suv cannot last more than 30k...

To me personally, i find the stock dunlop enasave tyres rather noisy. Grip is ok though. But if you want quiet and good grip...primacy 3 st is gd...

Yes that what I was sourcing initial. unfortunately local do not has the 215/60/16. Only XM2 carry this spec.

Actually i am not too concern on the noise. Just on the volume. Haha i am more toward good grip and low resistance thread.

For the aircons, somebody ask earlier.. If you guy try putting ur hand over the 3 vents at the passenger seat.. u will notice is at 3 differnent wind speeds.. Try at a higher fan speed to feel the difference, i read it actually helps to circulate the aircon in the car better, so the rear will feel cool.. if u open the boot, u can actually feel the wind at the rear at maybe 2nd speed?

Maybe a good time to solve mystery - ask the SE Why MIT lower spec HRV OMV is higher than MIJ higher spec(should be ba) HRV?

Newer engine have CEVS rebate?

Just like Jazz having the newer engine and have $5000 rebate.

So OMV lower.

KM SE also informed me that the new HRV will have DOHC, MIJ and almost similiar specs to the current Vezel. But the OMV for new HRV will be lower than old HRV. Not sure about other changes to the new HRV

Went today. HRV sold out.

Was also told new one coming but no so soon. DOHC 130 hp one.

So the rumour is true. Kah bringing in the either made in Japan vezel or made in uk hrv. No more Thai hrv. If the prices are competitive like the Jazz. I will buy from kah for sure.

Rumour is the car will arrive in June.

I'm exploring a few brands & models of SUV to replace my scrapped 2.5 Murano.

Anyone here has been driving the CX-5 ?

Appreciate your opinions on it.

Most of the online reviews were based on test drives only.

Hi TameDriver,

I have given my review of the CX-5 in the forum. Have driven it for a while before I wrote the brief review.

What else do you want to know about the car? You may PM me and I'll try to respond as accurate as I can.

Have a good Sunday:)
