Try driving it thru KPE with those huge trucks & motorbikes

Or you can try west coast highway with all the big container trucks..

I signed my vezel with a PI in Apr last year at 120k. Only managed to get the car in last few days of Nov, 1 day before the TCOE expires. If given a choice, i would have gone to AD if they are bringing MIJ HRV during that time. During that time, PI vezel and AD HRV is almost 10k difference.

My experience with my PI is that right after you collected your car, there is totally NO AFTERSERVICE. No help when i told them car was scratched when i check at the strong lights at petrol station (i didn't notice during collection as my car was dirty and wet due to the rain and they parked outdoors). When my car has issues, i approached them for help, they just push you away like dirt saying they can't help as they are not the experts. Their appointed warranty workshop also didn't want to honour the parts citing "wear and tear" for a car less then 9 mths old. With no choice, I have to fork out money to fix up the defective parts.

This would be my first and last time buying from a PI [furious]

IMHO, u should have check properly during collection. I believe AD also wun do anything to help u in the scratches.

Would U mind sharing the workshop to me by private msg ? I going to get my Vezel Hybrid next week and I do not feel good abt the warranty workshop... maybe want to hop over.

HRV though being made in Japan and likely same factory as Vezel, would probably be a car that's made for export only whereas Vezel is JDM which stands for Japanese Domestic Market.

JDM cars are not meant to be exported out from the manufacturer cause it's meant for internal consumption. However, parallel importers are able to get their hands on it. That's out of manufacturer control. Hence that's why you probably see the different chassis number format

The Vezel is equipped with a flare , in case of bad snow storm. some dealers forgot to remove it. The owner's manual is in Japanese too.

Those PI dealers in Japan bought the JDM models, register them and deregister againbefore exporting their cars. This is a common PI practice.

In Singapore, Flare is a controlled item due to explosive contents.. Two or three years , some customers found the flare under the glove compartment. I read from the newspaper. If you can get hold of one, you are luckly.

Hi,

Recently i bought a Vezel from PI, promised to deliver in a month time after gotten COE, and now is already 1 month plus already. On average, how long does it take to get the car after COE?

The paperwork alone will not take longer than a week, even including car inspection. But you should check with your PI on stock and other reasons.

Rolling in some layman's term is referring to having financial difficulties, and the use of newly collected money to patch financial shortfall. Of course he might be referring to other meaning that is outside of my knowledge.

Good thing your SE stopped you from making full payment. Else you will be worse off than now. Take it as a lesson learnt is what I can advise you. And move on after trying your best to recover your deposit.
