The sound from switching off the engine and dis/engaging the Parking brake are separate sounds.

 

The parking brake sounds are made by the mechanism to clamp/unclamp the calipers from the rotors.

 

The clunk sound at the back can almost always be heard when u turn off the engine upon parking. However I have had instances where I was parked for a while longer before turning off the engine and I don't hear that clunk sound. I haven't solved that mystery yet but not really bothered by it.

Handbrake engaging causes the screech. Can be heard on other cars with electric handbrake too. Theres a clunk sound when engine is turned off. That I havent found out but not to worry.

 

I also looking for the reason why there is a clunk sound when the engine is off.

Anyone knows where I can replace the brake light on top of wipers ? Accidentally knock and chipped but led still working. Tried to search for topic but cannot find post related.

The rear spoiler 3rd brake light? I replaced mine at sggarage a month ago. Not sure if they still have stock or not. Or you can contact Honda stockist Thian Seng

Hi all, anyone knows how to turn off the acc on the cruise control? I find that even if u set the distance to just 1 bar, it will still brake at about 100m or so. Very irritating

If you had clicked Cancel, you may not have deactivated Cruising.

Need to click Main or Accelerator/Brake pedal to deactivate Cruising

Changed my BBC last Wednesday, and till now my auto start/stop is still not working. Is it normal? I have not been using the auto start/stop for a year. Do I have to drive more to charge it up before it will work again?

Hi All,

I am repeatedly encountering the parking brake warning light (Amber) which will not go off (Unless workshop reset the fault code) even after i restart my car on my 2015 Vezel X. This issue was observed when (1) i use my Brake Hold function, or (2) when the CTBA was activated locking the brake. The common observation that caused the parking brake warning light was upon the automatic unhold of the park brake for brake hold and CTBA. I had recently changed a new car battery as suggested by many that could be weak battery issue but it still doesn't solve the problem.

Workshop diagnosed the DTC error to be " 58-11 brake diag circuit off failure". Will like to seek assistance if anyone had similar issue and managed to resolve
