  1. Anyone does servicing package in Cycle & Carriage? Is it necessary to does servicing in Cycle & Carriage in order to valid the warranty? I know some of them does servicing at outside but still could claim warranty from the AD. Care to share is there a clause somewhere or any legal term to fight against?
  2. went to service my car last sat and was told that i need to replace my drive shaft... Before this servicing i noticed whenever i do turning (i find the bends quite sharp for me) at first lane (after MBS towards AYE) i will heard a loud sound coming from undercarriage. the technician told me could be due to this drive shaft... But after changing the drive shaft, both sides. I still encounter this issue. Any idea what other possible causes?
  3. Hi I am driving a 5 year old Suzuki. Recently changed quite a fair bit of parts below as due to wear and tear. 1) shocks 2) lower control arm 3) stabilizer link 4) steering rack and tie rods 5) rotors and brake pads My car is stock. No mods done. After installing the above parts I started having cracking noises below at very low speeds like 10km/h. If I can recall correctly the noises started having noises after steering rack and brake components were replaced. The sound is worse than before I changed anything. Any advice?
  4. when i on aircon, the hissing sound is continuous. when i off aircon, the hissing sound is on and off, msot of the time, no have. it comes from under carriage. anyone can guess what's happening? it's a 2006 auto facelifted vios
  5. My under carriage cover (big piece of plastic covering the bottom of my engine compartment) got yanked off yesterday by some low curb at the car park. It was hanging by a few of the remaining screws & was dragging on the road as I drove. Could not secure it back as the secure points were cracked, so I cut off most of it so that it will not get in the way when the car is moving. With this removal, a large part (75%) of the engine comparment is expose the the elements as I drive along. Probably be driving this way until my next servicing ( 2 months away). So the question is: will there be any adverse effect to my engine should I continue driving without cover?

  11. I notice some cars come with an under carriage (engine bay area) cover. My guess is, it's purpose is for streamlining the air flow. However, I also notice a great number of cars without it. So, on the other hand, I am thinking if it is restricting air flow OUT of the engine bay ??
