A Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe has been caught doing 'Boom Boom Boom' noises in one of the HDB carparks along Hougang Street 61 early in the morning last night. This has not gone well for him as videos of him revving his car that has been tuned to make "pop and crackle" noises has gone viral. s.MP4 According to unnamed sources, it seemed that the green CLA Coupe owner has been approached by home owners staying nearby for the noise pollution and a fight ensued. The police was called in and the CLA owner looked like he has been charged for causing hurt a.k.a Penal Code 323 as we can see from the Whatsapp screenshots. He was intoxicated too but was not charged for drink-driving as his female friend was at the wheel. -
the waterpipes at home is making loud constant 'duuuu' noise when we turn on tap, flush toilet, use washing machine. it sounds like as if its going to vibrate and burst. ended up we cannot turn on the water volume too fast n too much to avoid the sound. what can I do? sld I call town council or HDB or PUB? Will adjusting water valve works?

Mitsubishi ASX with CVT (3 months) Got this problem in the mornings when engaging the reverse gear after the car is parked overnight on a level ground. It only happens when shifting from "P" to "R" where a loud sound (like something grinding or cracking) is heard and the car reverses normally. In "D" mode everything is normal and no noise is heard. Only happens like once or twice in a month, puzzling. Anyone knows if this is a serious problem?

Hi All, My auto trans 2005 Honda car (not CVT) recently developing a obvious whining engine brake sound. Is this a auto box problem? (I hv always change autobox on time or earlier using Honda Z1 trsnmission fluid). Any bros has experience this in yr ride ? ....... and what the cause and remedy?

Hi all I have a 2007 Nissan Latio (Premium with CVT gearbox) that produces rumbling noise at low speed or when the engine is experiencing load. The noise is especially evident at cold start and the noise got louder over the past whole year. I brought it to a mechanic and was told initially that the engine mounting might be damaged. Then when i urged the mechanic to confirm again, I was told that the catalytic converter might be the one vibrating and causing the issue. Any bro here got the same problem as me? anyone know whats wrong?

Not sure why, suddenly there is hollow sound.. when the speed hit 110km/h, the sound gets lesser.. anyone got any idea what's wrong, and any good reliable workshop to recommend? My car COE left 1.5yrs.. I'm in dilemma should I repair it or not? I step on the gas while parked idle and didn't hear anything even RPM go up to 3,000rpm or more..

Was driving and suddenly I couldn't engage 5th gear..gear stick when in, but rpm just dropped. I dropped to 4th gear and stopped and put to neutral. I hear loud tok tok sounds from engine bay also. I turned off and switched on again, tok tok sound persists. Now waiting tow truck, to be on safe side. Anyone encounter this before? I'm driving a manual swift sport.

went to service my car last sat and was told that i need to replace my drive shaft... Before this servicing i noticed whenever i do turning (i find the bends quite sharp for me) at first lane (after MBS towards AYE) i will heard a loud sound coming from undercarriage. the technician told me could be due to this drive shaft... But after changing the drive shaft, both sides. I still encounter this issue. Any idea what other possible causes? -

Anyone experiencing this problem? Especially in the morning when the engine is very cold... usually last for about 10 minutes when the car has warmed up... car is about 3 year old... I experience the same problem for my previous ride, '98 version GLX...

Ever night without fail, my sleep will be disturbed by car owners with loud alarms. Their alarms are those horn blasts of 7 or 8 intermittent bursts. Its LOUD and IRRITATING when it goes off in a quite night. The funny thing is that its set in a way that it will go off blasting w/o any reasons. Am I right that its just sending out warning by blasting away or to tell ppl around the car is arm with such loud alarms? Cos thru out the whole night it will just repeatedly goes off. Last year, I was carrying my sleeping baby at night when I walked pass this car and for some reason its alarm went off with its loud horn. My baby was so shocked that she felt sick the next day. Who can I make a complain? Can I call the police?

Hi people, my car is having this loud sound whenever I go into right bends. 1-2 months back it was ok, there sound was very slight and I can usually drowned it out by playing my music a lil louder.. Now, the sound is so loud, I can even hear it over the music.. It sounds almost like wind noise, but very much louder. When I first noticed this sound, it can only be heard when I go into right bends, gradual round bends like those you see when u're exiting or entering expressways.. Now, this sound is so loud I can hear it even when the road is only slightly towards the right.. It gets very very loud when I do the right bends.. But when I go into a left bend, surprisingly that sound is gone.. Anyone knows what's wrong and any remedies for this? Thanks!

any one knows who bout tis car which just loves to rev its exhaust when it leave work around 6 to 7pm .. bloody hell think his car beri fast .. onli loud onli .. no need hao lian .. somemore it is damn ugly .. coz everything is zhng black .. if u so hao lian .. then wind down window show your face .. dont hide behind tinted windows and rev so loud when the traffic lights just 20m ahead ..

hello all, really need all bro's help with this. i'm really quite fed up with PML, not that i dont like their service, but i know the car and i know something is wrong but they keep saying "nothing is wrong" or "computer diagnostic is ok". zzz. here's the problem: i have a 3 yr old 320i, and when i start the car up and drive around, everything's ok. after a while, the fan or something giving a fan noise starts coming up from my engine compartment, so loud until i sit inside my car with windows close can also hear the "vheeeeeeng" sound from the fan. when u hear from outside its like an aeroplane engine noise -.- ok la not so loud, but u get the idea. it's too loud for a normal car. so here's what's next. I bring to PML for at least 5++ times liao. from before warranty over until now past a few months after warranty still havent solve the problem. first time they say radiator got fault, which makes sense since maybe engine too hot then fan need to blow faster (is it?). ok fine that was before warranty over, FOC change of whole radiator. but then when i drove back, the next day problem still there. so send back, they said dunno what's the problem. after that few days i was too busy, so had to use the car. i send again after maybe 1 month? they say computer say no problem. so i figured, they may not see the problem since the car doesnt have the problem until after a while of driving then the noise will come up, so i sent again and told them. then after a week of sitting in their workshop, they said got some problem with air-con pump and dunno what, charge me $800 cos no warranty liao. ok lor, LLST just pay cos also my fault i nvr tell them it's after a while. lagi best, the next day still got the loud fan noise -.-. i told them once the noise come up, i'll bring in and show them. they said ok, so i brought it in and they had their mechanics ready. i left the car there for 1 day, and they replied saying nothing wrong, just the fan sensor a bit off and think the car overheating so make the fan blow faster. !!!! then last time i change the aircon thing $800 for what? till today i still havent wrote in, planning to do so soon and get my money back. but GUESS WHAT?!?!? (no points for right answer though haha ) the stupid fan noise is STILL THERE after about 30 mins of driving, and it ROARS like an aeroplane (not exhaust noise hor haha). seriously, any of you out there ever faced this stupid problem before? I really wanna go PML and fix my car problem. If not everyday i drive around i also scared the car suddenly catch fire -.- Please help! thanks.

Just now saw one grey Ferrari (look like Enzo but not sure) flying down orchard road. Sibeh loud. Even a WRX with a striaght thru exhaust also not that loud. Can't believe LTA actually allow such noisy cars on the road......

Sigh.... youngsters nowadays likes to listening to blasting music from their earphones/headphones which the volume loud enough to annoyed those sitting nearby in a public transport. What will u do if u encounter someone that sit besides u doing the same? For those who is thinking of venturing into business, maybe time to focus on hearing/viewing aids industries cos if this trend to be stayed, more ppl in the future WILL DEFINITELY NEED hearing aids when they grow old. Same likewise for those who are computer games addicted...optometry shop is another booming industry.
