the waterpipes at home is making loud constant 'duuuu' noise when we turn on tap, flush toilet, use washing machine. it sounds like as if its going to vibrate and burst. ended up we cannot turn on the water volume too fast n too much to avoid the sound. what can I do? sld I call town council or HDB or PUB? Will adjusting water valve works?

My 06 wish suddenly had the temp warning light lit up yest. went workshop and was told radiator leak and the fan is weak… suggested to replace these 2, plus 2 pipes connected to the radiator... How much should this cost on average? Was told after labour should maybe $1100... -

Grey color is 3 way junction with big pipe in, 2 small pipes out. Red is 2 way junction with small pipe in and small pipe out. Brown is 3 way junction with big pipe in, 1 big pipe and 1 small pipe out. Green is 2 way junction with big pipe in and small pipe out. The question is at the thick pipe on the left. Both A and B are shower heads. I need to know if both shower at the same time, which layout is better? As in the water won't be so little. Thanks for the help.

Wednesday November 28, 11:01 PM Toyota to recall 264,000 cars to repair fuel pipes Japanese car giant Toyota Motor Corp. said Wednesday it was recalling about 264,000 cars in Japan and abroad to repair defective fuel pipes. It will recall 215,020 Crown, Mark X and Lexus sedans at home and some 49,000 Lexus GS and IS series cars abroad, mainly in the United States, Britain and Canada. The cars were produced over the two years to December 2005, Toyota said in a statement. Of the total sold in Japan, 139,890 were from the Toyota's Crown series and 70,706 from the Mark X series, while 4,424 were Lexus cars. The statement said the fuel pipes were improperly bent and could develop minute cracks, causing fuel leaks in the worst case scenario. Some 39 defects have been reported by drivers but no accidents. It is the latest in a string of recent recalls by Toyota, which has seen its reputation for quality dented as it races to overtake US rival General Motors as the world's top selling automaker. In mid-October, Toyota recalled more than 470,000 cars of eight models in Japan due to problems with the fuel and steering systems. by AFP

There are bread & butter cars (well, slightly 'higher' than B&B up the ladder, so to speak) which come with twine exhausts.......... i mean two SEPARATE exhaust 'boxes', one on the right, the other on the left. I can understand why high performance cars may need two separate exhaust, but why do normal cars need two also?? ....... if one is good enough for most other B&B cars, why bother to add weights to the car when one will do?? I have held an exhaust in my hands, it's not very heavy, but it's also not light.... Can any bro tell me the reasons why some normal cars need two exhausts please? In fact, some high performance cars (eg STi, E9 etc) just need one single exhaust ....

Hi Guys, Need some advice here again. The aluminium air con pipes in the engine bay of my Laser are mostly exposed, with only some parts wrapped in insulation material. The air-con guy advised me to leave it exposed as the condensation may corrode the pipes in the long run. I can't help but wonder if my air-con would be colder or more efficient if they'd been wrapped? This would make a lot of difference say on a hot day and the car has been parked under hot sun for a while? Thanks!!

I ve searched the forum and cant find any previous postings, so I will start one new thread here. Was exploring ways to cut down noise coming from air intake pipes, charge pipes, downpipes, etc and getting into the cabin of my car. Was advised by some that one way is to wrap such pipes with heat insulation materials made from fabric kind of materials. Was also told that shops like garage-R can do this kind of insulation wrap, which not only insulates against heat preventing heat soak but also can insulate against noise to some extent. Anyone care to share the effectiveness of these insularion wrapping? -
I would like to check When you have non stock exhaust pipes, do you guys pass your inspection easily? I need to send my EP80 (with not passable pipe) in for check soon so as to renew my road tax. Anyway to pass without spending big money. Any advices or comments? -
