  2. The king of compact luxury sedan is set to be reborn in about 2 years' time. Expect exceptional aerodynamics with a Cd figure of around 0.24. Turbocharged units will be in full circulation at BMW by the time the new 3 Series hits the streets. We may see a 1.5L three-cylinder petrol turbo engine delivering about 150hp (112kW) while their diesel counterparts are likely to offer around 300Nm of torque. The 8-speed automatic gearbox that makes its debut in the 7 Series will find its way into the upcoming 3 series. My personal opinion is that BMW is making a wise move to downsize the engine ca
  3. Spies in Maranello, Italy, captured a few shots of a Ferrari 599 GTO prototype while undergoing testing. The street legal version of the 599XX was spotted with a new front bumper, grille, and wheels. Also noticeable is the new roof, potentially made from carbon fiber, and a large new rear diffuser flanked on each side by two exhaust pipes. New seating was also spotted. Reports suggest that the 599 GTO comes with a 700 PS (515 kW / 690 bhp) 6.0-liter V12 engine with a 9,000 rpm redline. At 3.2 seconds, speculation suggests the car will spring to 100 km/h a half-second quicker than

  6. High-Performance Mitsubishi Lancer Spied Ralliart ? The 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is already on sale in three different models (DE, ES, and GTS), all powered by a 2.0 liter inline 4-cylinder engine. Now these latest photos taken in Death Valley capture a high-performance prototype being tested in hot weather conditions. One look at the huge dual exhaust pipes makes it clear that this is not the standard 2-liter engine. A look at the front also shows an intercooler mounted just behind the lower grille opening. Without question, this thing is turbocharged. But what is it, exactly? Mits
