  3. Let's play a game From the list below, place in order, in your opinion, the nicest looking to the least appealing hatchbacks. Not engine, Not performance, Not value for money....just the looks! - Mazda 3 Hatchback - Kia Cerato Hatchback - Subaru Impreza hatchback - VW Golf - Fiat Bravo - Toyota Auris - Audi A3 - Nissan Latio Hatchback - Opel Astra - Hyundai i30
  4. I feel that compact hatches are the most difficult to rate as more car manufacturers usually got it right! There's no clear cut nicest and ugliest.. Compact hatches throws practicality out of the window to give the car that cutsy and nimble form. Because of it's size it's bound to attract potential female buyers hence most models are painstakingly designed to include some form of curves to it. The more successful model will include a tad of masculine cues to make the car more balanced and unisex, so you won't feel gay driving it.. Pls ranks the below from nicest to ugliest, in your opinion! -Suzuki Swift Sport -Honda Fit RS -Mazda 2 -VW Polo GTi -Alfa Romeo MiTo -Toyota Vitz RS -Kia Picanto -Citroen DS3 -Ford Fiesta -Mini Cooper S

  6. Boxy but good written by Tom Lankard Toyota wants to draw a new age into its showrooms, a younger crowd that, once there, will return over time as faithful buyers of Toyota products. But the brand name Toyota doesn't click with this crowd. Neither does the present line up, starting with the Echo and closing with the Avalon. Toyota figures the solution is a new brand, one carefully researched to appeal to the next generation of car buyers. Scion is that new brand. The Scion xB is one of three all-new models wearing the new badge and can now be found in about 80 percent of the Toyota showrooms in California. In February 2004, Scion will expand to the South and East Coast. Scion is expected to complete its national rollout in spring 2004. The success of the Scion xB depends in part on how it stands out in the market. There's no question it stands out visually. The Scion xB is a box on wheels. Built by Toyota to high standards of quality, durability and reliability, the Scion xB feels tight and quiet, with little wind noise and no squeaks or rattles. It rides smoothly and is easy to drive with good brakes and a smooth clutch. It's no hot rod, however, so shifting into lower gears is needed for quick acceleration.
  7. I reckon these are the top 3 candidates... Subaru Tribeca Porsche Cayenne Honda CR-V
  8. It's not an official record, but this is interesting! 2003 Ugliest Car of the Year Sometimes I'm amazed by what companies are able to sell to the public. And occasionally I feel the need to give my opinion of these products (and thanks to the wonder of the internet, I can with no hope that my small voice will make the slightest difference to Honda). Which brings us to the award for...[/url] 2003's "Ugliest Car of the Year" After being fired from Pontiac for designing the Aztek, "designer" Fred Jones was hired to come up with Honda's answer in the popular Car/SUV/Cardboard Box Hybrid category. His "idea", a "collage" of parts stolen from other SUVs and glued together in Honda's "backyard", was released as the Element. The name, notes a high ranking Honda official, comes from the fact that "we really couldn't think of anything good and our lawyers wouldn't let us call it the Exterralade." A noted expert in the higher numbered elements commented, "Like most of the heavier elements in the periodic table, we're not really sure what it is, and it probably won't be around very long." Industry analysts expect the Element to have a half-life of about 6 seconds, noting that some dealers will probably be able to dupe consumers into buying it in the early days by using the "it's not ugly, it's versatile" sales tactic. Calling it a throwback (to the days when carmakers didn't actually have design departments), Honda hopes to capture the much coveted I-don't-care-what-it-looks-like-as-long-as-my-neighbors-think-it-was-expensive market segment. One exciting feature of the Element is that it comes with an optional "camping" package, including a tailgate cabana and picnic basket roof rack attachment. Additionally all four seats are able to be folded flat to make a "full-size" seat bed. This also qualifies Element to be entered in the running for "Ugliest Tent of the Year." Now, having read that, what do you think is the ugliest car to travel on our roads today?
