I used to think that location and freehold are some of the more impt factors that increase the value of a condo. But now after seeing such high prices for some 99 year old condos in OCR makes me wonder what makes a condo valuable. Furthermore these condos are not exactly very near MRT. Could it be age? New condos always more expensive than older ones (even 2 year old). Like cars? What estates in OCR are expensive? I certainly wouldnt want to stay in areas like Eunos, Geylang or Bedok.

Liberal arts college graduates valuable for S'pore: PM Lee The new liberal arts college will offer a distinct education different from other programmes, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today, at the launch of the Yale-NUS College by the National University of Singapore and Yale University, Singapore's first liberal arts university. In his speech, Mr Lee expounded on the benefits of a liberal arts education, which will nurture graduates who can think deeply, rigorously and broadly, and be graduates who are 'valuable for Singapore in a more complex and inter-connected world'. Mr Lee also expects a majority of students to be Singaporeans, and expressed confidence that more Singaporeans will enrol in the college when parents and students come to see the value of a liberal arts education. The college will be an additional attractive option, for those students who have performed well, but are unable to be admitted into overseas liberal arts universities because their foreign-student admission quota, said Mr Lee. The Yale-NUS College, an autonomous college of NUS, will register its first batch of 150 students in 2013, with the eventual yearly subsequent intake expected to be 250. Mr Lee also encouraged employers to offer internships and provide their support, and that the government will also do its part to provide funding for the College.

I am contemplating choosing between a few tyres. As I am looking into the High Performance tyre group, i'm looking @ RE001, Eagle F1 GSD3 or the Assymetrics, or the Goodyear Revspec RS02. Any other comments? Please help give some advice!! thank you !

Good afternoon, everyone My 20-month Honda Edix, currently clocking 36000 km, has default Dunlop 195/65/15 tyres which are wearing out soon (thread marks ~ 16 mm front, 18 mm rear even with tyre rotation every 10000 km). Personally, am a 'play-safe', family sort of person who never opts for swift cornering and rarely attempts more than 3k rpm, especially with my 4-month old baby girl onboard. Questions to ask: 1. Are default tyres often of second/third grade so as to render the price tag more appealing? 2. Is it true that GIII fares better than GR80 in terms of its road handling properties but emits more noise in turn? Is GIII of a higher calibre than GR80? Many thanks for your valuable comments
