Cerano 1st Gear July 13, 2010 Share July 13, 2010 Hmmmm... maybe appoint Subhas Ananadan as the lawyer? This should raise the awareness even higher.... Good idea... i heard he works on cases selectively and even goes pro-bono if he believes if its for a good enough cause? (can anyone verify)

Unltd 5th Gear July 13, 2010 Share July 13, 2010 true but not even to see justice exacted? Uhmm... mostly lawyers tend to specialize, for him. He specializes into criminal law, you got some shipping, finance, banking, conveyancing, road traffic accident etc... Although legally he can represent for this case, it is unlikely he will take it up. You can try la... No harm dropping him a line to try

Tony_ong Neutral Newbie July 13, 2010 Share July 13, 2010 Idealistic Hyperbole. Whats the point of putting up all these big words and meaningless theories like "Punishment and enforcement was never meant to be the way to correct flaws and ills, among humans and animals alike." It is not meant as a correction tool, it is meant as a DETERRANT. This Chong wanker did not do it on a moment of impulse, it was PREMEDITATED and REPEATED. The fact that he even tried to use a towel to cover his identity proves beyond reasonable doubt that he knows that what he did was wrong. If he had only done it once and begged for forgiveness but TS still chose to push it this far, then your bunch of nonsense may hold some truth. Since you are sitting on such a high horse, can I have your address and car license number? If you are not willing to stand up to all the rubbish you sprout, then you are just like what you preach, utter rubbish. L84 - I think you really don't understand. 1. The system is based on deterence not correction. Correction is when Chong goes sees a shrink. 2. Its not the action that determines if there should be intervention by the system - its who is involved.
Pool100 1st Gear July 14, 2010 Share July 14, 2010 I can't believe after all these clear evidences compiled by TS, nothing is being done. Where is the justice and accountability that must be accorded to all Singaporeans? If there is no justice, why do we recite the pledge anymore? It's so clear there's no justice whatsoever. It's all a sham. It seems like the gahment is only interested in leeching the citizen's money from property, cars etc. But when it comes to the bread and butter such as justice and peace of mind, nothing happens. This is indeed a 5*star gahment. I'm not trying to make it sound like I'm some kind of opposition party or anti-PAP, but I'm just terribly disappointed that the gahment can't even solve this simple case and bring peace and justice to the citizens. Can you imagine if it was MM or PM's cars being vandalized? I guarantee the culprit will be thrown into jail for years + rottan - all within 1-2 days. Utterly, utterly disappointed. ↡ Advertisement
