only cheap hard plastic.

 

But wood veneer is not the worse.

I think Jap cars like Toyota and Nissan like to use them alot . Look so fake like toy, no class at all. IMHO, do fake one must also close to the real thing mah.

The old cefiro and camry woods are little like uncles, everyone is changing them.

 

But the new Allion wood is nicer. dark woods. Personally i like it.

 

i heard those people ba zhi clash with wood change it to other type as well.

I find the cefiro wood is nicer. Natural looking colour and non-glossy.

i find the totally plasticky kind very repulsive.

 

trend is going towards bird's eye maple, the black colour kind of wood.

If is proper wood (like Rolls Royce or Jaguar) then it can be quite classy.

 

But if it's cheap plastic 'wood' like on Toyota, then no. They look really awful.
