Bought my CX5 recently and do come with factory setting with auto lock  function upon driving at 20km/hr. Can also do setting on HU to disable auto lock and can select when to unlock....either unlock when ignition off position or unlock when in parking brake activated or unlock when gear stick in park position. My SE told me it is only available for CX series. In such case, I believe that it can be programmed to have this auto lock feature for all Mazda car models. Maybe TEK didn't give this feature for M2/3/6 due to pricing reason.

Should be able to be added.

Expressway 5-6L/100km

Urban 8-9L/100km

Average per tank 7.2-7.6L/100km

Droved 22,000km now.. ave 7.4L/100km

Many thanks for sharing the info. The FC for a 2.0L non-Hybrid car like the M6 is way way better than my current ride of Camry.

The hardware is already in place and only need to load in the auto lock software. Maybe after this incident, Tek may seriously consider to have this safety feature included for all their new cars.

I'd like to ask for the kind feedback from the owners of Mazda 6 2.0L:

1. What is the FC when driving fully in urban condition, 50/50 & on NSHW, with i-Stop and with i-Stop switched off.

2. With i-Stop activated, what is the lifetime of battery since the car will need to start numerous times.

I have just booked a 2L Exec during the Motorshow. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. Just signed on the dotted line too yesterday for Mazda 6 2.0 Exec. Don't mind I ask how much do you paid for yours during the motor show? I missed the motor show, just curious to know if there is much diff in pricing. :)

I signed up for the 8 bids non guaranteed. Price was $125,300. Given a 1 year road tax instead of the usual 6 months. Interest rate at 1.98%.

Price after the Motorshow was actually lower. Mazda price list from 18-31 Jan 2018 has Mazda 6 2.0 Exec listed at $120,800 (6bids guaranteed) and $119,800 (6 bids non guaranteed) respectively. May I ask which price plan did you sign up for, and what is the interest rate?

Saw the advertisement stating Mz6 standard from $109,800. Anyone can confirm is this for demo unit only? If not, this will be a great price for the Mz6 sedan.

Good on you mate for getting such a good deal that saves you $5,500 compared to what I had booked 2 weeks ago at the Motorshow.

When I checked Mazda prices during the last week of December, Mazda 6 was selling for $135,300 and interest rate was much higher at 2.58%. Nevertheless, I was pleased with the price at Motorshow.

Any overtrade for yr old ride?

Nope, this is not BMW....anyway "Overtrade" is nothing, take your old Car at higher price, also sell new Car to you at higher price or higher Interest Rate...there are no "Free Lunch" in this World.
