IDA....rather give the job to an outsider... kns...[thumbsdown]  [shakehead]

Turbocharged

Actually with our ageing population and Singaporeans' distaste for dirty and difficult jobs, like it or not, we will also need a lots of foreign healthcare workers to be nurses, nursing home attendants etc.  These don't fit into your 3 categories.

Mr Hiddleston, nurses will be in my Cat 'A'....the generallly lower skilled types...although you must let me qualify that they are a well respected profession. So lets open up a new Cat 'D' for the florence nightingales.. [thumbsup]

Agreed on this.  And despite much angst against Filipinos in our community by some people, I must say that the Filipino nurses I have come across are very professional, kind and caring.

My kid was hospitalized last year for about 4 days in KKH during which these nurses took very good care of her.  And sometimes I see how some Singaporeans talk to them and order them around, I also get pissed off that they are treated badly by these people.

A lot of local doctors are beginning to feel the competition from FT too, not just nurses.

For local is impossible to do because the pre-employment check will have unearthed everything IF you even get an interview for the job.

for some reason, when it comes to foreigners, they seem to suddenly lack the ability to run a proper background check

You made a good point.

People work hard when there is a motivation or a dream to fulfill. When that dream is placed well beyond their reach over an extended period of time, reality sinks in that it is impossible and the dream dies.

When a dream turns into a nightmare.

That's when people wakes up and lose their sleep.

It's a natural occurring reaction.

So we can't blame the person of fatigue the following day because he can't get back to sleep after being awakened.

It can happen to anyone, so need to find remedy (chamomile tea) to get back into the same rhythm. Then get the sleep cycle back.

Likewise in real life need to find the "remedy" and tune back to the right rhythm.

No matter how sweet the dream is, we can't always remember the dreams. But we still need sleep.

Having a job is just sleep, we need it to keep going.

Having a passion as a job is like a having a sweet dream. We feel good about it but cannot always expect it to happen everyday.

Stop hurting your eyes.

It meant time feel the real stuff.

Give me a good reason why this fella was not deported back in 2012 when he was sentenced to house trespass.

Now molest people.

Lets see if he gets deported or still allowed to stay in Singapore after serving jail sentence

house trespass sounds like a landlord-tenant dispute. Though i've never heard of someone who actually got charged for it lol.
