serenade 6th Gear July 22 Share July 22 Paste Salonpas koyok for a few hours, or rub in Deep Heat muscle relaxing gel. Both available from Guardian/Watsons. Recovery will be over few days. If need immediate relief, then use cold spray Deep Freeze. Numbs the pain. You always see footballers and sportsmen spray this when get injured on the field. Both of these are for muscle/ligament problems. If joint or underlying organ, go and see a doctor.

Gnahp Twincharged July 23 Share July 23 thanks guys updates after 48 hours I didn't see doctor, but it is getting better, especially after I started taking Panadol Extend yesterday and doing some gentle stretching pain drops from 5/10 to 3/10 or 1/10 (with panadol)

I tried to recall all activities prior to the back injury (no lion dance) 2 days before the injury, I was lifting a toolbox (~10kg) in a awkward posture nothing unusual after that like this but with both arms fully extended

I think if your arms were extended, there's a lot of stress for your back to maintain that cantilever position. I do a lot of exercises to strengthen the core muscles but will get backache once in a while.
