if he appealed without quoting bible, chc members wldve interpreted that as admitting guilt n trying to reduce sentence, therefore he throw smoke bomb again to further confuse his mindless minions...

hes just trying to keep chc afloat so tat the $ continues to goto horse imo

This guy is simply incorrigible, still trying to use the bible to justify his despicable actions.

Should just put him in the slammer & throw away the key.

he'll have to spend a lot of effort telling horse what to do and what not do to...

... under the rule of someone not as charismatic, and with him put away for so many years, it is very easy for the regime to lose its clout. he must be thinking of what cards she should play for the next 8 years already...

want to appeal ... then appeal la ... everyone knows he wants to appeal

appeal also must "justify" through the bible?

.

.

.

-- quote "How much weight can the good character of a shepherd have if he is also a wolf at the same time?" -- unquote

The concept of appealing to a higher court to review the verdict of a lower court was not foreign in biblical culture. Scripture tells us that there was an appeal process already in place for the Hebrews and Jews from ancient times.

I wonder what error that KH pointed out to be strong enough as grounds of appeal for his sentence. He compares himself with the apostle Paul(a Christian missionary) is actually quite disturbing.

Someone shared this on Facebook and it's still very relevant today and future generations.

What he said is very true.

But I'm not sure it's relevant today. He is the last politician who can and will really come down hard on religious trouble makers regardless of where they come from.

He is unshakeable on secularism and religious live and let live.

Today's leaders ?? ... case in point.

The AWARE saga. It was arguably an unprecedented case of an attempt by some to subvert a secular organisation into a religious one, and through it gain powers to influence national directions.

It's not personal anymore. . Implications are potentially deadly as it could set off open competition and charges of unequal treatment.

Instead of condemning the incident, the respond was rather luke warm. Those involved were very highly connected too.

I wonder how lky would have handled it.

Supporting a horse is not criminal beach of trust.
