SKX series are fantastic as daily beaters....I wear my 007 on Nato and it is comfortable and purposeful. They will one day (if the distant future) imho become a classic and join the likes of 6105, 6309, etc.

Frankentuna isn't really desirable....golden and darth tuna's? Well, different story and good luck seeing one around availble for long. I would suggest if you're looking to offloading either, it woud be this one. :)

yup..i will never offload the SKX as it has great sentimental value.

Any other Seikos that are potential classics?

6105-8110 my favorite.

Not potential , already a classic.

Actually you are not wrong.

For slimmer wrist, a 36mm Datejust on oyster looks very good.

Or a Daydate , looks even better.

But not ladies size lah..... [laugh]

I visited a pretty expensive salon to wait for my wife.

The hairdresser doing her hair was wearing a pam also, and the manager was wearing a sub.

When asked, they were still quite hao lian about it, tell me brand new how much etc but they arent familiar with the model codes.

Then they noticed my watch. Immediately flip prata......slowly bit by bit then reveal its replica blah blah blah after I probed deeper and asked to hold the watches. They also say the entire salon all fake ones also, even the boss (quite famous) also buy fake ones.

LOL... nb [laugh]

I got a 2 Seiko diver watches, the 009 and an frankentuna yellow. does it make sense to keep 2 diver auto watches of same brand even if they have different movement? Or are these worth a collection?

I know all here talking bout luxury watches, so pardon my cheap watch qn. [:p]

I would keep both.

I got a 18 year old citizen as well!

I would think the SRP043K1 (aka spork) now no longer in production will be a modern classic. They were abundant in SG a few years ago, but once announced all the shops seemed to have sold out almost instantly. The ones left prices went up a considerable amount.

I was on the hunt for one but didn't want to pay full retail + premium so missed out.

I also have a black monster which is a rugged ugly beaut. I love how functional it is having some of the best lume around, solid end links, quality extendable bracelet and smooth bezel, but hate it for its fugly looks. Won't ever let it go though.
