yup..i will never offload the SKX as it has great sentimental value.

Any other Seikos that are potential classics?

I got a hand down datejust 62523 h14 from my old man... but the watch is too worn out, gold part oxidize and scratches everywhere... wondering if a restore work will cost aga how much?

Is this model good for collection or its just too darn common... I am thinking of trading it in for a another one as this looks a bit ah pek if i was to wear it...

It's probably standard 16013, i guess.

Withyellow gold bezel, acrylic crystal and normal color dial

62523 H14 is bracelet reference for jubilee Twotone 14k

You can do a restoration for about $300 and it will look very good.

Very common model but its a classic. Not worth much. $2k++

If you put it on a croc strap, it can be very elegant and stylishlyold school.

Do not ever sell it.

I regretted selling my father's hand me down 6694 oysterdate.

He bought it for us$300 back then.

Personally prefer leather NATO's due to my mostly casual wear. NATO's give it a bit of extra heft, a little more eye catching than just your regular 2-piece leather strap. Also a lot more comfy.

The watch itself does look like the 16013. Guess i will restore it and hold on to it until it suits the older me heh...

I just realized the daydate on brown or black croc looks really nice.

Aiyoh....now then you realised?......

Check back on my posts showing my daydate on brown croc, brother.....

By the way, Rolex issued Daydates on straps or bracelet in the past (pre70s)

They just revived it again Basel 2013

Rolex issued Submariners on tropic rubber strap as an alternative to oyster bracelet in the past as well.

I do believe that sometime down the road, they will do it again.

Thats why classic never goes out.

I love classic.
