Psuche Neutral Newbie May 26, 2013 Share May 26, 2013 I know of a guy who stay rafflesia condo who goes to pool toilet twice a day to bathe to save his water bill. Each shower use about 1/4 cubic metre of water, costing about 25cents. Twice a day x 30 days = 2 x 30 x 25 cts = $15 Just to save $15/month... such a pathetic life staying in a condo ↡ Advertisement

The things ty end up having to do just to scrimp n save to hv that "lifrstyle " is really not worth e trouble. Can imagine ty everyday eat a slice of bread n butter wh a glass of water fr every meal just to b able to impress others ty can afford to stay condo or drive up market car. Maybe on his birthday he treat himself. A packet of maggi mee n can of coke fr dinner.

Yewheng Twincharged May 26, 2013 Share May 26, 2013 i tink he meant stay in car 10pm to 10.30pm dan when 10.30pm reach, he will go home slp... lol Is it because unable to get season parking for 2nd car and he thus no choice but to put night parking for 2nd car. However he.. want to save as much as possible as 50c coupon used with just 30mins to night parking is wasteful.
Van 1st Gear May 26, 2013 Author Share May 26, 2013 don't agree with this. being cheap and be thrifty has a world of difference. example, shower one time a day at HOME to save water is different from go mother house (or go swimming pool) and do shower to save water. the former is usually at the expense of others. like the classic example posted above. owner sit inside car till 10.30pm after nigh coupon kicks in, that fella is in a way parking at the expense of other users who paid for season (before overnight coupon starts) agree with you on the key phrase - at the expense of others
