I buy two Haagen Dazs ice cream instead of one because the cashier tell me buy two cheaper. [laugh]

Actually it's a fine line between being cheapo and thrifty.

show off <_<

i only buy those 50 cents from road side uncle and ask for extra cone -_-

I personally still feel this is not cheapo but just a sense of good money management, example in your situation, if you can finish two, and is cheaper to buy two, why not? [laugh]

But in the long run aren't you actually spending more? Normally one is enough already but you buy 2 cuz its more value for money. If you had chosen to buy one only since its enough then you'll have more money at the end of the day right?

The only people who would save money from buying 2 would be those who would have bought 2 in the first place since one is not enough.

When going out for meals, this particular guy would always order a number of the most expensive dishes.

Because the bill will be split equally by the number of people, his expensive dishes would be shared by all.

Long long time ago, when bus rides were charged using the old card (those put inside machine and comes out with ticket), I saw one guy "act" like putting the card into the top hole but then quickly brought his hand down as if collecting the card from the bottom hole.. [hur] Hope you get what I mean

Have also seen some ppl board the bus, then start a conversation with the driver and after awhile proceed inside the bus to sit.. And the driver forgets that he/she never pay for the ride -_-

2nd. Experience

Wife & Me attended good friend son wedding dinner, saw a middle aged couple sitting at next table flashing out 3 big tupperware boxes [confused] to collect left-over food around 4~5 tables nearby, we respect their courage to do it infront of so many guests but we never belittle what they're doing because no one should waste food resources [thumbsup]

Maybe they collecting for their pet at home?

I know of a cheapo who packs back those chicken bones he has eaten for his pet dog at home <_<

Poor dog [shakehead].. Why not at least pack an uneaten chicken piece instead??
