My wife included. And sometimes the driver also forget to remind the passenger cos he is busy concentrating on the road.

But if parking, it's not safe too. There are people who notebooks or iPads been stolen as they left in their car seats. It's too tempting as there are too many uninvited thieves from neighboring countries looking for every opportunities. So, it good to keep in d boot as what my wife normally do.
Deckbuild 6th Gear June 27, 2015 Share June 27, 2015 Is this possible if the window has solar film installed? Yes, once the window is smashed, they just use cutter to cut through the solar film. For protection, at traffic lights in Malaysia, leave a gap of at least 1.5 car length infront, look at both side mirror during traffic lights, if any suspicious rider or people beside, be prepare to accelerate forward and backwards to elimate their chance of attacking. When you move your car suddenly, those bugger gets a shock too.

Please do not keep your com or ipad in the boot esp when you drive to KL. They have some devices to detect these valuable items in your car and you should know what will they do next right... Tcx607 4th Gear June 28, 2015 Share June 28, 2015 (edited) Just completed our family shopping fest in KL. Very good sales especially on GAP products (50+10% discount). Heard from Malaysia frens that investors are pulling out of Malaysia due to lost of faith in the country corruption situation. Anyway, it is good for SG shoppers. For MY thefts, it is always ongoing. It really depends on where/time and on the right place for them to take action. Choose a car park lot which is bright, possibly expose to people without hidden by pillars etc. Always be vigilance & wear something simple. Try to avoid carry thick wallet/purse but just carry credit card alone/cash notes separating them in small amount in different pockets or bag. Travel in group will be good. SG people talk very loud always attract attention. Avoid this. Edited June 28, 2015 by Tcx607

Or Malaysia police will bo chup even if you capture the footage? It will at least serve as a deterrent right?

Janling3 6th Gear June 29, 2015 Share June 29, 2015 They will steal your camera too The thieves are very pro and fast, their aim is to steal anything valuables. Be it your dvd player (RM1,000), hand bag, ipad, laptop, even car video camera.... ). Even when you have car alarm installed.... I think the best alarm is like what was installed bat mobile.... Unauthorized entry attempt would electrocute the alleged thief without fail... Ha ha ha... So be always alert. :)
