Extinguisher 6th Gear June 16, 2016 Share June 16, 2016 it's over the big three ! Is the rate better at JB compared to sg?
Shorty Turbocharged June 16, 2016 Share June 16, 2016 Is the rate better at JB compared to sg? depends on where u change. the place right aft shell station (in front of B point or something like that), not good. but aft u turn right towards tebrau highway, the rates r better. if u go komtar shopping ctr, also surprisingly gd as i always tot the rates in shopping ctr r worse.
Spring Moderator June 16, 2016 Share June 16, 2016 Is the rate better at JB compared to sg? I believe in general, rates in S'pore are better esp at Arcade. Obviously, there will be exceptions on occasions where rates are better in Malaysia eg sudden spike in rates but unless you changing a lot or are a frequent traveler who knows which places are better in Malaysia, my advise is to change here.
Zxcvb Turbocharged June 16, 2016 Share June 16, 2016 Is the rate better at JB compared to sg?Change wherever is convenient. Arcade at raffles place will be the best. But if you work in Jurong, it's bloody stupid to travel there to change. In Malaysia, always follow where Malaysians change their money. I see J played motorbikes always go to that few money changers, I also follow suit. My tip is follow wherever there's a crowd or queue at the money changer. Or check the rates here, see how much are ppl changing currently.
2BDriver Hypersonic June 16, 2016 Share June 16, 2016 Is the rate better at JB compared to sg? Singapore money changers are buying ringgits from their Malaysia counterparts therefore you'll seldom hear Malaysia side claims "Currency Out of Stock". My personal ringgits exchanging experiences is JB same as those Singapore city money changer with high turn-over offering higher rates then the HDB ones.
