Is it better to change ringgit in Malaysia ?

 

Whichever is convenient and on-the-way for you. No much difference in either country. Currently money changer is at 3.03 or 3.04.

Decided to give it a miss.

I cannot stand sitting in car inching forward.........

Legoland is not exactly cheap. Prev i booked a 3D2N stay (theme park entry included) and cost me almost S$1k. Sentosa has a 3D2N stay package (room not as impressive as legoland) but cos about S$700 (incl theme park and some other attractions entry). Might as well spare yourself the agony of being stuck in jam to/fro plus support our hm economy rather than tat of our neighbouring country tat has a PM tat is constantly thinking of f us up.

 

If anyone wanna say "but the exchange rate", my exp with neighbohring countries resort stay is prices of in house restaurant isnt much cheaper than those in our country.

Agreed. Just because exchange is 1:3 doesn't mean prices in Malaysia are 1/3 of the price. Actually many goods and groceries are about the same or slightly cheaper in prices. You need to do your homework on knowing what and where are the ones that are significantly cheaper than SG. Prices of restaurants and services (which locals visit) are usually cheaper. I try to avoid places infested with Singaporeans and go to places where their local Malays go to (I'm a Chinese btw).

just get the annual pass during promo will be much cheaper and try to go as many times as possible during the validity. Leogland hotel just go one off for kids to experience, after that if need room go for afinity airbnb just across legoland. less than S$100 can get a good and spacious room.

Agreed. Just because exchange is 1:3 doesn't mean prices in Malaysia are 1/3 of the price. Actually many goods and groceries are about the same or slightly cheaper in prices. People with 1:3 exchange rate mentality will usually tend to overspend as the perception of things are  much cheaper across the border and will just buy even if they don't need it. Buyers also need to beware that things maybe same same but in reality its different.

I got awesome pass for 1 year. So last tuesday just went in at 10+am, left at 3pm.

For 2-3 hrs, let the kids play around then come back.

yeah. had a good stay at somerset medini Serviced apartment the last time.

 

If i ever wanted to stay one more night at legoland, i would go there.

Yes, I buy my father medication same brand same packaging for only S$25. Here the GP sell to my father for S$70!

 

My Asthma medication here S$70 for 60 doses, there S$45 for 120 doses...exact same thing. At least I haven’t die yet.
