Bro, I'll be 40 in a few days and I still go for power (including torque) and overall performance (including handling). I don't give a stuff about looking stylo. I guess I have to wait till 70 before I mellow out. [laugh]

i will be 36 soon...and i will go for power just like you.

but caused of the prohibitive costs in singapore, i have to go for resale value and praticality

I notice you included the TVR and Lancia badges in there. If you drive a TVR (esp. Cerbera or Chimaera) or a Lancia Delta HF Integrale, then (for what it's worth) you will have more respect from me than the average Ferrari/Lambo driver.

I think the poll needs a redesign. Power and performance probably go together, but it would be good to separate them as power/torque (=straight line performance) and handling (= cornering performance). And engine reliability is really a different thing from the other two. The most powerful cars can hardly be said to be reliable.

Thought engine reliability is related to PRICE, resale Value and cost of maintenance.

If the engine is reliable, this will lower the cost of maintenance, thus affecting its price and resale vale of a car. E,g. Toyota cars.

bro, not every member here drives like a F1 driver leh. :)

Performance as in efficient pickup from stop, adequate power to overtake when is needed for street use.

It wasn't in any of the voting options [laugh] To me, it's very important and sometimes, local dealers strip down the car to keep OMV and ARF low and safety could be sacrificed.

Which I believe you could see from some of the Japanese models sold by some dealers.

For example, the reduction of number of airbags.

lao liow mah... old bones and heart cannot take the kinda excitement that power cars give.

or if you look at it at another point of view...

his insurance no longer covers him for any mishaps that may arise from his reckless driving styles when in a power car.

so lan lan gotta tame down a bit loh. [laugh]
