What make and model worth renew COE after 10 years

vibration likely due to worn engine mount, not expensive to replace. I'm driving a 11 year-old vios mileage is 180k. If you are the first owner will be better as you will understand the car better. If buying over a second hand and renew COE I will be skeptical. Of course parts are cheap and you can replace it easily

I found one that is reportedly 1 owner and low mileage. But was surprised that the (visual) condition is not fantastic. The seats and the gear and steering all got bit worn/washed out. The verna that i'm giving up which is one month older, looks better than it anytime.

Just can't reconcile why a car one owner low mileage is so worn out internally…

Convert back to normal plate first before renewing.

Hi need advice and would really appreciate for your detail views,
I have an aquantaince who has an OPC do not want to renew his Coe,thought of buying over and would like to know the Pros and Cons bf doing so.
Is it worth to renew a Hyundai verna that has 2 mth left?its condition is really good and has a mileage of 50k only,

What do I have to pay other then PQP on May and etc etc...

Thanks for the advice guys!

hi,

is IS250 or 2007 C200k (first batch without big/small eye) more worthwhile to renew COE? particularly wrt cost of servicing and maintenance.

My opinion is that continental cars maintenance is costly.. Take note that most cars which are beyond 10yrs will have many tear and tear parts to replace.. So think twice..

I'm renewing my W204 C180K in early 2018. Hopefully PQP remain stable at $40k and if it hit $30k and below in 2years time is bonus. Has also facelifted to 2012 looka only spend $1.2k bought the kits from owners upgrading to AMG body kit.

My mechanic said Merc can renew COE. W204 quite reliable the past 1yr+ I've driven. Just don't renew the peanut headlamp W203. Looks pretty dated

Buy the W204 2007/8 model spend a bit facelift to 2012 headlamps and bonnet/bumper etc, surely looks sporty

Just replaced W204 engine/gearbox mount only cost $300 from stockist. My CRV engine/gb mount cost almost $600 from stockist. Ended decide to change only 1 out of the 3 mounts to save cost as the rest still ok to last 1.5yrs b4 scrap

Yeah I have been told to give BMs a wide berth...even though the 2006-7 3 series look quite decent.

Minus certain problematic cars mentioned by others here, I think most cars can last 10 years easily IF the owner takes proper care of it. Some people trash the car and then wonder why got so many problems. Take care of the car and it will take care of you!
