Good question.  I am a lazy guy so just want to get into the car, plug in the micro USB cable from the MHL to my phone and then both sound and images will come out of the HU.  And as I have connected USB from HU to the MHL, it will also charge the phone at the same time.

You can connect via Mirrorcast if you have a android phone.  First, select "Screen Mirroring" on your andriod phone and then select "Miracast" from your HU.  Then, on your phone, it will scan and display your car HU for you to select and tap it.  Then, on the HU, it will prompt you if you want to connect to your phone and tap ok and you are connected.    Everything you see on your phone will appear on the HU screen and you can touch and control from both phone and HU screen.

As you can see, it takes a few steps to setup compared to just plug in for HDMI.  Also, you will need to connect USB to your phone if you want to charge it at the same time.

hi sorry, but i cant find screen mirroring in my LG phone. do you have to install any app on your phone???

Silver to me is safe color. Best of both world. Grey is more young as compared to last time when gunmetal is out and it looks awesome. I still rem 10yrs again, many will get gold, nw iphone and samsung alrdy hve gold so no more with cars. Think market like to trend toward more unique color like brown and bronze. Silver to me still looks good that why lots of silver altis on the road. If u guys got see sieta, i also found one color name Air Yellow. More colorful choice but BM dnt hve

I LIKE MAZDA 3 FACELIFT. park side by side you straightaway know car novice will pick which one.

but toyota is solid in EVERYTHING. even the interior is much larger although exterior wise mazda 3 looks bigger and better. that's why we got altis in the end.

Same sentiments. From 3 or 4 models again, they entry to the rear seat is too low. Now still the same.

Btw got my COE. Gng to get my ride soon. Look to pass my 2006 altis to BM liao. Any similar model driver need a change of their.side mirror without signal. My.left one.is like brand new cos change last yr. Right side also working fine. If any of u knw who has a spoilt side mirror that cant auto turn in, let them know m willing to trade in for a small topup.

Cheers guys. This few days i will check out scuff plates and little mods for this altis and see if worth to buy or not. Any new rides here have purchase any mods? Can share? Any one upsize their wheels with trade in of rims and tyres. Which company can intro? Thanks.

you start your engine. then immediately hold the unlock door button until you hear your doors unlock. if not hold for 8 second. simple as that. that was what i did with my car.

if still cannot, you try to press the start-stop button without stepping on your brakes twice until your electronics light up, immediately you hold the unlock door button for 5 seconds/until you hear the doors unlock. this is the official instructions from the book.

if still still cannot. tell the technician when you go for servicing with toyota. tell them what you want they will help you to do. if they dont want help buy hot coffee splash them.

Thanks bro, I tried your 2 methods but it didn't work unfortunately :(

Have called Toyota and they mentioned they would program it for me either via booking an appointment or on my 1st 1000km servicing.

Further to that, I would like to check with you guys how much is your fuel consumption before the first servicing?

I'm getting mostly 9km-10+km/l. Feel that it is pretty bad. However, it's mostly 90% city driving with traffic jams. Have only gotten the car for a week a so and pretty much every journey is met with a jam. #singaporeroads

I have only topped up my petrol once. (after almost depleting the fuel which came with the car) Currently have got 220km on my trip and it is almost half tank already.

My friend told me that after the first servicing, the FC would usually be better. Not sure if I'm paranoid but seeing 9.8km/l on my dashboard is annoying.

Any comments?

Pls do not use the estimation from the meter to see.

Use how much you pump and divide to check your mileage

For mine start is abt 12-13km/L but I am highway 60 and city 40

you hold the DISP button on the right side of your steering wheels then the FC will reset. starting lower cause the engine running in plus the technician driving within the toyota garage. but when i first got my car FC also 9.8km/l.
