Supercharged

Found some safety flaws with keyless entry. Stated in manual that if u started yr car engine, leave the car. Someone jumps into the driver seat, he can juz drive it off. Only when he off the engine then he cant restart anymore. Haiz. So missing the previous key and separate remote. I can leave the car engine on, take out the remote, lock the car and walk away. Now cant. I try locking with remote but it juz wont work. Will to read the thick manual for more details.

What flaw is that? If normal car key, you start car and run off to jalan-jalan -> anyone also can jump in to drive off your car.

Leaving car engine on, then locking the car is not only bad practise because it pollutes extra fumes for your fellow countrymen, but it is also illegal. I would be very happy to report such inconsiderate drivers.

The original speakers sucks big time, my friend bought the twitters from bm and it sounds flat.. Haha! The original Headunit is quite good. I changed my speakers recommended by my installer Sky. Some German brand speaker that cost me around $400+. It comes with a set of two front speakers, tweeters and installation. Superb Sound!!!!

Mind sharing what speakers you changed to and PM me the contacts? thx

Suggest you adjust the front speakers balance to +5 and see if you are happy with it first.

The BM tweeter adds to the highs but need to push the sound more behind (Front +2)to make up for the bass.

Also, if you are playing songs from your USB or SD Card, press the S.Rtrv (Sound Retriever) button for better sound.

Neutral Newbie

Could anyone advise petro 95 is ok for altis?

yea. you can even pump 92 if you want. no worries. the car manual stated 91 and above, which also means 92 in singapore context. dont listen the your SE when she tell you to pump only shell cause of the new cvt engine. all petrols will work so long as it is RON92 and above. personally i pump 95 spc.

Do any Altis brothers feel that the steering wheel can turn a bit left and right even though travelling on a straight road.
