 how much are you getting on avg for your ride?

Juz send car in for 1k servicing. Reported all the necessary problems. Was advice to get the $160++ top up to enjoy 20% servicing disc frm Yr 2 to 5. 6yrs onwards will get 30% disc. Seems worth it. Their major svc cost ard $438 and Minor svc ard $343. If 1 yr svc a major and minor, shld save ard $100. 3 yr will break even. Quite not a bad deal.

Anyone got the luggage tray for yr altis?

The scruff plate is juz too small to really protect so might go look for custom scuff plate if its necessary. Anyone knstalled scuff plate?

Forgot abt this. I ask abt upgrading of hu. BM says they only the gps which is SD card in the HU. Can only change once in 3 yrs. Once updated, next change will cost ard $300 if i heard correctly.

 

Dent and scratch to claim within 1 yr from date of issue. Note that bumpers and roof top is not covered.

 

1 free Wax and 1 free polishing cns be claimed with 2 yrs from.date of issue.

Also talk to service staff abt that, say cannot do outside due to the 5 yrs warranty. Cos insurance company will need to check service logs and all servicing be done at BM. Dnt knw why need to check with insurance company? Later i go confirm with him again.

$250 quote for led scuff quite exp. BM also not so exp.

 

Btw saw lots of items selling in taobao, dnt knw of size can fit or not.

 

Led for interior and carboot, luggae tray. Any bought? Carboot light is juz too dim. The current no brand 9 led or more selling $5 in carousell. $19 to $25 in shops.

Lol. Piang. The warranty is preventing us from poisoning too much. Stock is the in thing nw. Haha.

Also the ride nw so exp, try to save more for servicing and maintaining the interior and exterior of the car

The info from the car is not accurate (Esp when you just got the car).

I always reset the meter and using how much pump to calculate

It will void if service outside. My ex G9 service in BM for 6 years. Even Fuel filter at 80k km I also let them do.

Yes it have risk ad possible to void warranty. My se advise me do at least once per year to keep record. Iy is really cheap to service outside. At least save half

Too bad. I sign up their shield infinity to enjoy disc on repair and servicing. Cost $162.25, way cheaper then the stated $189 or $289 later. The only topup required is the aircon filter and petrol filter. Those wear and tear shld not be included too.

Btw i have all most of my servicing receipts with Riverview, as the mileage go higher, the price also shootup. Maybe it is still cheaper then BM. But still seem to pay quite alot for the servicing.

Guys i did mention in the new Altis thread that im very angry when so many switl marks left on the car after 1k servicing. This only 1k alrdy like this, cant imagine whats gng to happen after we send in 2nd, 3rd and so for.

 

Was at alexandra village and chance upon an shop seling lots of led or halogen lights from philips and osram. Also better quality led at $11. Those from philips and osram cos 30-50 range as they r of better quality then china one. Philip is made in taiwan. will try to source our more cos uncle told me he got it frm supplier.
