Supercharged

Everything is relative, including superstitions and beliefs.

Come back to cars, we all know number "4" is not a good number for chinese. But I have seen number of supercars and luxury cars with plates full of "4"s. Even seen one with 4444 plate.

So my question is if "4" is so bad, then how these ppl prosper and continue to enjoy life?

I think the photos are very classy and tastefully done. Especially like the great colour combination. Kudos to the photographer who's able to pull it off and the couple for their courage and passion against the conventional.

Yeah superstitions and beliefs are nothing more than conditioning from young. When everyone around say and believe the same thing, it becomes a "truth" even though it may not be. Like u said, if 4 is really bad luck, it should apply universally to everyone, which is clearly not the case. It's all in the believer's head. Having said that, I do think that if a person truly believe a "bad luck" hard enough, it may really manifest in his life. In a way, it's self-prophecy.

And no, I don't believe walking under women undies will bring upon thousand year of bad luck. I think I'm doing quite well despite having walked under countless brands of bras and panties.
