Ya, morning traffic from north to leng kee is very heavy traffic, no matter which route you take. The other day took the farrer rd to leng kee in the morning, didnt know traffic was so heavy along farrer rd from lornie rd even only around 7.30am. Tons of cars going towards the AYE.

Morning school rush hour.. Farrer leads to Bukit Timah where there are many schools with parents who can afford to drive their children to school....

Ya, u better pray hard. My 2018 cooling coil kaput at around 30K mileage, replaced last year. Lucky still under 5 yrs warranty & they claimed it's quite common for this model.🤔

Hi Bros,

Anyone knows how to pry open the remote car key to change the battery for this 2018 Elantra Basic? Scared to damage the remote. Tried to Google

& Youtube but cannot find the exact one, only showing Ang Mo countries type, thanks.

I think the basic idea is the same. Though I have the keyless entry fob.

Just start from somewhere. Try to use a plastic based pry tool to lever up first (though inevitably I've partly have some minor cosmetic damage from plastic indentations to mine cos sometimes have to use a flat head screw driver).

Think this may be of some help or provide some pointers.

Key fob battery usually quite easy to change out.

Stay safe

Cheers

Saw the video, dun think it's the same. My model the inner metal key cannot pull out de. I think must pry somewhere from the back, but there's 2 parts. Not sure if it's the part with the Hyundai logo or the other non logo part. @Lala81any advise, thanks.🙂

OK, found one that's 2017-2019. Hope you have better luck with this.

Hi, I just bought second hand 2017 elantra 70kkm. Can I ask recommendations to affordable workshops for servicing that's good to newbies? Any tips or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

Any 2016 version Elantra's owners facing issue with the car?

Elantra second hand value is rather low compare to other C Segment rivals.

Hi Elantra AD owners, I was wondering if I can get some help here after searching high and low through the web but no answers. My question is, does Elantra AD have any locking/unlocking horn/alert build in? Reason for asking is because sometime i use this feature to locate my previous vehicle in crowded carparks. Hope the folks here and help me on this, thanks in advance! Cheers

Hi All,

My Elantra GLS 2017, 100k++ mileage. Wish to hear your thought on my car issues

- When slow to 50km\hr left turn, can hear noise "niak-niak-niak", not very loud type. But not on right turn or drive straight. When at stationary, turn steering to Left, there is not noise. Any idea what the issue, whether front suspension spoilt?

- Last June, When travel long distance to Msia, after drive for ~2hrs, air-cond not cold & air like not blow out from cabin air vent even switch to max. After stop the engine & restart car, air-cond can blow cold air out from cabin air vents again. After another ~2hrs drive, it happens again. Nor back to Sgp, city driving sor-cond is OK, daily ~half an hour drive....ay thought?

Thanks in advance...

Elantra or Hyundai door handles.

Need a screw driver and have a pointed head small plier.

After loosening the screw. Need to use the plier to pull back on the attaching screw mechanism before can remove the manual key cam piece pulling outwards.

Need the pointed plier to press the clip loose for the keyless connector (it's very tight, can't use your fingers).

Need to pull it loose. Not just unscrew. Otherwise the key piece cannot come out.
