Yysiong 3rd Gear January 16, 2017 Share January 16, 2017 Hi folks, what is the oil that your workshop uses for servicing ? mine is 0W-20 as stated in the manual. I noticed that 0W-20 is not easily available everywhere. Most of 0W-40 or some 0W-30. 0W-20 is supposed to offer better FC, but you need to get the right one specified by Toyota to prevent wear. And how frequent do you change oil ? comment ? Local climate and traffic usually lowest 0W-30. Auron 2nd Gear January 16, 2017 Share January 16, 2017 Sorry guys. :) it is easily slightly over 1000km per tank everytime for me. I find that Esso and Caltex allow me to hit > 1000km. Strange thing is, i notice they all had a hp holder on the driver side,and the phone is displaying GPS.. Uber/grab driver ah? Plate can change one. zedane 1st Gear January 17, 2017 Share January 17, 2017 Usually around ~1020 to ~1030km Like... Wow impressive. I only had such results in December. Overall quite hard for me to achieve this now with all the jams I face in the morning/evening. I find my FC for trips of less than 10km to be less than ideal. Usually its about 20-22km/L. For longer stretch with lesser congestion can hit around 27-30km/L. But nowadays with school reopening it averages around 24km/L. To achieve consistent 28-30km/L I have to depend on the cars in front of me. If the drivers are the kind that like to accelerate and brake then quite impossible for me. If I let my ride pick up speed smoothly I will get horned/highbeamed from behind or the car from the side will filter in dangerously resulting in me having to ebrake which defeats the purpose lol. Still pretty contented with my result of pumping petrol once every fortnight. I used to pump about thrice every fortnight. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Price quoted is 130-135k Wow didn't know Prius also has 7 seater model. Not so sure of the engine spec but if it's the same as the sedan Prius, your fuel efficient will not be as good? Wouldn't a Sienta Hybrid make more sense? Cheaper, in abundance on the road(hence parts replacement should be less of an issue) and also 7 seater. I think the G model also comes with dual power sliding doors. Comfort wise for both is prob gonna be on the same level as Wish unlike the Estima which is geared for comfort. I believe if money is not an issue you would have opted for an Estima Hybrid? good luck finding another 4.. i think i only saw i prius alpha on the road... Never see before leh... What the pi told me was that it's using gen4 motor. I also intend to ferry light goods as well, which makes sienta too small, and the estima is not suitable for goods due to the seats. Prius alpha offers the best of both worlds. Anyway my current gen 3 is still giving me 25-26km/l after 8 years (and 1 battery change) so i don't mind even if it's still on gen3.
