can earn meh. the wear and tear on the merc will also be high. in the end the extra money earn will be used to cover repairs.

I followed Uncle RadX advice and joined Ryde. One year i only gave 4-5 rides lol

 

This is because i only fetch those along my way, not going sacrifice for longer route.

 

Does it cover repairs and depreciation? No but i am sure that trip covers my petrol and parking cost for that day.

That's why Grab is voluntarily topping up fares to attract more drivers but they never realise that actually the passengers need to be have right attitude before drivers want to use this service. I used to do GrabHitch rides but stopped after most of the passengers thought GrabHitch is GrabCar at a discounted price. To be fair, I have met a few good ones that are willing to chat and sit at the front.

 

Until the day passengers get the right attitude, GrabCar is always available..

It happen when a couple, who wanted to sit at the back relize there is baby sit.

There is a Facebook group with many GrabHitch drivers and riders sharing experiences. Can join if you are a regular GrabHitch driver or rider.

Targeting drivers and passengers who share similar, if not identical, routes, GrabHitch will require both parties to log in to the service via Facebook. They will then be able to see each other’s profiles and whether they share mutual friends.

 

How do u see each other profiles and mutual friends if you are a driver using the Grabhitch app ?

Cos need to use facebook profile to register on Grabhitch. Can only see the FB profile pic, not the entire thing. Last I heard, they do away with FB to register liao.

Can choose to login with mobile number, Google account or FB account.

I have tried using just mobile number to login and via fb too.

I was hoping to see some mutual friends with the riders. But I guess this is not possible anymore.
