Rumour is he was treated for an overdose last week... real pity if this was a contributing factor... yet another talent wasted away to drugs

RIP.

One of the most talented rock musicians, despite all the racism and stereotypes in America.

Actually before yesterday, I never knew he was a rock musician

You thought he's the fresh prince of belair?

No. But I always thought he's a pop or funk musician. I didn't know he lead a rock band.

If I didn't remembered wrongly, Michael Jackson death was related to over doses in medicine.

The next in common both are black popular super star's.

I feel the label "rock musician" doesn't do him justice. He's created music in so many genres it's just amazing and he was so prolific.

One this was that he was very particular about his music being posted up online, which is why you can't really find much of his stuff on youtube and other video sites.

Think he is multi-genre. Rock, pop, funk, r and b. Except rap.

Now the next biggest piece of news everyone is waiting for is the autopsy reports - though he had no external signs of any injury or so .
