BMW comfirmed good to drive...Esp the RWD Models, the N20 have lower Mileage, but the B48 is a better Engine, you decide yourself...Hey,wait a while, the N20 one look like is from PI...because the Speedometer got Mph Readings...Yes,the N20 Unit YOM is 2013.

Woah u very sharp bro. I nvr spot it was mph much less yom 2013. Hmm so leaning more towards the b48 then.

2. Lower than standard suspension by 10mm + thicker anti-roll bar

3. Electrically controlled damping and rebound.

4 & 5 Add electric control anti-roll bar + active steering

I've always had a soft spot for the 3 series gran turismo, even though purists always found it awkward. And it's pretty rare too.

Saw these 2 listings:

328 n20 https://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=1321115

320 b48 https://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=1313241&DL=1228&utm_content=SLeligible

both around 2 years to go and seems low mileage and good condition

which will you go for?

For context i've owned VW and Audi more than 10+ years, currently driving 2015 Q5. Thinking of getting a BMW for short time (1-2years) before all these cars are gone and have to go EV

Just to update I've gotten the dec16 320GT.

I want to update owner details and get the previous history from pml, but I've heard they don't share. So thinking will just send in for oil change and check. Or it's waste of time and money?

Also, is there any bmw f34/f30 telegram or WA grp?

Kum siah and have a good Sunday!

I am considering a switch to X5 from my current GLC. I rent alot when I am in the US and have driven X3s mostly. I love the drive alot and of course the looks.

Now that a bigger car is needed. X5 7 seater is in the shortlist. We hear alot of the oil leaks and the reliability in general. Never had a owner verify this.

Can someone share with me the issues they face and the probability of facing it please

TIA

Usually BMW and reliability don't pair well.

Oli leak is common in most conti vehicle.

Ppl buy BMW because how it drive.

Sometime, oil leak is not really oil leak.

This is especially for cars which drive in start-stop traffic.

Never own one , never ever drive one. For  engine oil leak , where is the common  locations - engine front crankshaft seal , rear seal , oil pan etc. Or maybe no leak at all just   due to poor piston scraping ring actions resulting in the excess oil  on the cylinders being burn during the combustion process.

Based on my personal experience of the F20 116D and G20 320i, reliability is generally ok.

What i mean by generally ok is that I do not experience major problems such as gearbox failure or any part of the drivetrain kaput.

But as the car ages like around 5 year old, I faced minor issues such as temperature sensor, abs sensor and radiator leak.

I don't face issues like engine oil leak or engine eat oil (such that need to top up engine oil) for both the cars.
