Most of the depreciation is around 12-14k plus a year vs this one at 10K plus depreciation  a year 😅

volvo V40, S60 also similar. 1-2 units are super low prices. i guess approaching 10years... might have some minor issues.

Interesting comparison of the 5 series by Mat Watson from Carwow. Petrol (using mild hybrid) vs. electric vs. PHEV.

The PHEV is the 530e M Sport. It has a 2-litre 4-cylinder engine and a 19.4kWh battery pack. On electric power alone, it has a claimed range of between 59 - 64 miles of range.

The petrol-powered 520i M Sport. It has the same engine as the 530e, a 2-litre 4 cylinder, producing 208hp and 330Nm.

The i5 eDrive 40 M Sport. It’s equipped with two electric motors, an 81.2kWh battery, and has a claimed range of up to 374 miles on a full charge.

Petrol heads can rejoice in that 520i came out the winner based on economics with no tax incentives.

@ER-3682 Up front costs for 5 series does not favor PHEV version - even when going with PI. Prices taken from SG Car Mart.

Petrol heads for the win by a country mile compared to the PHEV version.

For China, maybe.

For Singapore. More plasticky hollowed out models for higher margins is more likely. Maybe we will get 3 cylinder 1.5 litre 530 M Sport.
