Reminds me of :

GF........suffer every month

CO........suffer every day

(disclaimer: the above is wholly fabrication and in no way a reflection of my inner most fweelings :D )

Choose one:

Top up oil. Pain every 2-3 months.

Crappy drive. Pain every day.

Was that GS300 parked next to any BMW for long time?  [laugh]

One of the owner of a GS300, his side mirror folding mechanism spoilt after abt 1 year usage. Claimed warranty and had it repaired. Jap car not nothing will spoil. It depends on ones luck.

T2 may not agrees with you.

For engine oil, it could be a driving pattern issue.

BMW is not suitable for ppl who wants a fuss free car.

Ppl who use it for commuting or badge will complain a million thing about BMW.

Weird but successful marketing? Didn't know got a population that like fussy car

I bought a Lexus because my previous car is an ALFA ROMEO! none of the Brandâs mention here can beat ALFA at problematic :D so dun tell me how bad is BMW , Audi etc ð

Anyway if reliability is your main concern above any other stuff, then like many already advise, get a LEXUS ES250!

Somehow I tend to relate that

Alfa is the 小三.. Problematic when they start giving problems, otherwise, super sweet and orgasmic

ES is the 正宫. Boring and dull, yet low maintenance and gets everything done

Ya? lol

Indeed I am chasing "the badge thing" in some ways, realised after discussing with all here. On the jag, I dropped it from list, lowest in reliability as most agree i think.

"Among the premium badges, which one gives least headache with reliability " This is spot on. Thank you.

Have been driving the new XF for more than a year with no incident. The drive is better than the 5 series and inside is quiet as any E class. It's a head turner compared to new E as nobody can differentiate between the new E and C. The old jags got a bad reputation but that's decades old reputation. Jag employs lots of BMW staff so it's essential German nowadays. The new 5 looks small and bland as well. Give the new XF a chance if you want a unique car which looks more than it costs. Pic attached.

Both the Lexus and Merc have more panache than a Camry, but the Merc more so. Neither car will attract prolonged stares though.

The Jaguar might.

I can't differentiate between a C and E till I look closer. The new Jag XF beats 5 series in reviews. Don't let the reviews of the old XF affect your decision.

Hv diff?

Nowadays these badge designers sibei lazy. Either do 1 design then cookie cutter for the whole range or use past generation just cut n paste.
