Lol the music I'm referring to is like kiddy songs or the Yamaha music class songs. I'm fine with the radio.

My Dslr photos are backed up to Dropbox. They are raw data files so it's quite big. I didn't know default Icloud so big. I want full resolution photos to be saved so I don't use Google photos. But I rec everyone else to use them. It's like whether u want lossless audio vs just regular 128 kbit mp3.

Yeah some of my friends are on Spotify.

Ah ur use case is different. Understand now.

Twincharged

Wait... are we talking about consumer videos? Like a minute here or there with your smartphone?

If it's those... my video count for the last 3 years is about 550... most are for between 30 secs to a minute. File size between 60mb to 120mb.

And these are uploaded in the background once I'm done taking them. And I'll find them on my both desktop and  laptop library before I even get back home.

No la. More like youtube kind. 5-10min per video. So I prefer to transfer them over manually. Guess that is why I prefer sd card to just syncing wirelessly.

Dropbox is still the best and easiest service for cloud storage if you want cross platform accessibility... short of setting up a Synology NAS box with it's native cloud support.

With Google Drive... I had issues uploading NEF files... this was around 2015.

With iCloud Drive though... I've been uploading RAW from the Oly by importing into the default Photos app. The app itself only displays the jpeg as default... but the RAW copy is stored in its master folder to recover if needed.

I have Nas. My Dslr no wifi. So I import into lightroom as dng file - > backed up to my Nas —> Dropbox. My hp photos then direct to Dropbox. My lightroom catalog also backed up along the way. Always paranoid that a fire will wipe out all the physical drives in my house and yet don't want to use Google photos lol... So LL pay the money to Dropbox.

people should know what they are getting into before they commit to such acts, still, there will be people who think it is a must to get the latest phone...

Thanks.

The knife is very sharp.
On a "somewhat related" theme of the iPhone 8, the avarice is in full manifest in this clip:

After first being reported in Taiwan and Japan, the iPhone 8's battery swelling problems don't seem to be going away with five more countries, ChinaCanadaGreeceHong Kong, and most recently the United States, all reporting similar incidents.

The problem seems to affect both the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, with the device's battery swelling up so much it will actually push the display outwards and separate it from the case. To date, no fire or explosion incidents have been reported so far for either device.

It’s unclear at this time what’s causing the batteries to swell up, but according to a statement from Apple to Macrumors, Apple is reportedly investigating the issue. “We are aware and are looking into it,” Apple’s statement reads.
