64gb is just nice space for me. It'll be years before I can fill this up. Here's my current storage usage on my 8+

 

Still got over 20+ gb free. I can also easily clear another 5gb if needed. Highly unlikely though

Didn't know there's such a big demand for the 256gb.

 

I only needed the 64gb and was able to order 30 mins after the site went live. But I couldn't decide between the white and the space grey.

 

After a long time... the white with it's stainless steel band looks damn appealing. In the end... went for the safe grey colour ð

 

Now wishing I'd ordered white instead ð

Price difference is not a lot. Might as well get the bigger one.

I still have my old 3GS ð But that's more for sentiment cos it was the first iPhone I bought.

 

Most other devices get handed down in my family. And when I'm selling a 5 yr old iPhone on Carousell... doesn't matter what capacity... most anyone will pay is between 50-100$.

For me, I won't pay more for what I don't need even if it's just a little difference.

 

That's why I don't upsize my McD meals, or use a $100 mobile phone plan.

 

I use 64gb and it's more than enough for me so I won't pay extra ($150?) for extra space that I won't need.

 

But for something I want, I will pay. Heh heh

Of all the iPhone X reviews... the one I found most revealing was by Mathew Panzarino of TechCruch.

 

In the video review, he shows a feature that I used to use almost daily on my iPhones up to iOS 10... and which Apple inexplicably broke in iOS 11... called Reachability.

 

There were rumours that because there's no home button... there won't be any Reachability on the new X.... but now, happy to see (from 25secs onwards)... this feature working well

I don't know whether you guys will trade-in your old phone when renewing the contract.  I recently renewed to a Sony XZ phone and the trade-in value offering for my old phone was $60.  But I didn't trade-in my old phone instead I sell it to another phone shop that offered me $130.  It depends on the condition of the old phone, my old phone was just about 2.5 years and come with complete earpiece, charger and a 32GB SD Card.

I also don't sell laptop or notebook.  If the notebook is still usable, I usually will reformat the notebook back to factory setting and pass it on to the needy family who cannot afford to buy computer for their children.  I've come across there are family with 4 children studying and sharing 2 computers.

 

As for Hand Phone, I will also remove all the data and pics and reset to factory setting before selling.  Anyway, I don't keep important data on my phone :)
