After trying and running and running and trying for so long, and after reading so much on running injury here. I think I can only run a short distance at a slow pace, can forget about anything more than 10k km liao.

I guess the iron plates and steel bar still my cup of tea. But with CB and now not a good idea to go to the gym, strength also seem to be dropping. So, together with my son, we did up a proposal, with my whole life salesmanship coming out full force, finally manage to get the OC to agree.

Now waiting  for the  power rack, Olympic barbell, bench, and Olympic weight  plates to be deliver for my home gym...[laugh][laugh][laugh]

25km/hr average is fast. My cycling skills not there. And frankly, I am afraid to become a road kill and a casualty number looking at all the discussions so far on mamils (no disrespect to anyone). Meat cover metal, no matter how right your action is, or what best time to cycle, will suffer more than the motorist/driver. IMHO, not worth it for the cardiovascular benefit.

I'd also just back to regular cycling after 24yrs. Same fear on the road.

I will choose off peak hours to go on road then to nearest PCN.

But now doing road bike instead of MTB.

Avg 30 to 60km each ride.

Longest was 87km this Monday. Took me 3.5hours, with 75km on PCN and Changi Coast Road dedicated bicycle lane. So it's actually quite safe...

Can be safer if drive to carpark then start riding from park.

This looks like promising,  all got hope... [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Wah...my optimism is not misplaced.... less than 14k now. 10 years time could be cheaper and less bulky.👍👍👍

Hope can use medisave to pay a portion of the cost, since this is a medical need.

Saw someone posted this is hardwarezone.. Sport massage is like that one? I don't think I can survive this, my pain threshold very low, I can't even last the 30mins of foot reflexology.

I'm prepared to try this before seeking medical solution if I cannot resolve my pain and aches.😬

Looks like a session with my therapist. It's interesting the reactions people have, everything from shouting and yelling to literal crying. I tend to start laughing when the pain gets bad kinda like "arghhhhhhhahahahahahaaa!". Wifey is usually having her pilates session outside when i'm in the therapy room so she can tell how bad the session is by how much i'm laughing.

I see her once every 2 weeks. She'll usually do routine maintenance during the session unless i have a specific issue for her to work on. Not cheap, she charges $130/hr but totally worth it.
